About This Product
Instant Power Root Destroyer is designed to eliminate roots of plants and trees in sewer lines. After roots have accumulated enough copper sulfate, the roots will die and decay and water flow will increase. It will not harm trees or plants. As roots re-grow, follow up treatment will be required. We recommend using twice per year (Spring and Fall). Directions: Apply 1 pound of product (the whole container) twice a year to household sewers by flushing in a toilet closest to the main sewer line. If the toilet is not flushing well, try flushing pound at a time.

Can this be used in the kitchen sink? My kitchen and bathroom have separate drains and only the kitchen is clogged with roots.
My sewer line is clog with tree roots, will this product work with standing water in the sewer line or do I have to wait till the water drain?.
Yes, Instant Power Root Destroyer will still work if there is water in the drain BUT water does need to be flowing some so the product can get to the tree roots in the drain line.

Safe for septic systems?
If you have roots from the house to the septic system then Instant Power Root Destroyer will work and not harm the septic system. Can this be used in the shower pipes?
No you can not put Root Destroyer down shower drain- only in toilet or directly in sewer line.
Is there anything that will kill the tree roots on the outside of the pipes in the septic tank?
My sump pump line discharges into the sanitary sewer main line (I know against code but grandfathered). Will this harm the sump pump?
