Can iron out be used on my sons baseball pants to get the grass and red clay dirt out.

Asked by Jd February 21, 2021
1
Answer

Iron OUT may be used to remove rust stains from any white garments. If the pants contain any dye, the colored portion of the pant will need to be pretested to determine if the dye is colorfast and will remain. If the dye is not colorfast, Iron OUT may cause permanent damage, such as bleeding or discoloration.

Rust remover that actually works!
Had some rust stains on the bow of our boat from an anchor chain that soaked into the deck paint. I tried CLR and it was worthless.. did nothing to remove the stain. Came across Rust Out and tried the powder due to positive reviews. Applied to a wet deck, scrubbed with a brush a bit, let it sit, and washed off with a hose. It cleared the stain after three applications! Works as well as asvertised - i would highly recommend it

Left more stains
I had a few rust stains from my patio furniture on my brand new patio. I used iron out. Although it worked great on the stains it left large white stains that are way more noticeable then the small rust stains that I was trying to get out! Please help! Any suggestions on how to get the new white stains out that the iron out left? We have tried scrubbing them with dish soap already.

It Works
For nasty rust on your concrete driveway, this is the stuff! Just apply to the area and allow it a little time to do it’s stuff. No scrubbing necessary.

This is a wonderful product. I had a terrible rust stain on the back of our stucco house, because of a rusty railing on the deck. I read the reviews on this and decided to give it a try after I had used a chlorine bleach solution. The bleach faded it out a lot, but it was still visible, so I went looking for a solution. I mixed it carefully and used rubber gloves and a dust mask when I poured out a cup. It is really fine dust and blows everywhere, then it fizzes when you put it in water, so don't stand over it. I started applying it with a soft brush. I rinsed it between applications and I could suddenly see it fading away. I couldn't believe how it just disappears as you're watching it. I was just so pleased to get that out, I can't begin to tell you how that stain had bothered me, and poof, it's gone, thanks to Iron Out. Next, I decided to tackle the reddish mud stains on the brick veneer on the side of the garage. That's been there for over 10 years, and it's coming out!! I'm working on it, and again, it's so cool to watch the stain fade out right before your eyes. Safe on stucco and brick veneers! I love it and am getting another 76 oz bottle. My first one is almost empty. Did I mention that it works on Mud dauber nests? I've got them all over and am working on them too. It fades out that darn red dirt stain the best I've seen. Of course it would because it's iron in the soil that makes them red. Use it, you'll love it!

If you want a rust remover with a lot of clout, look no further than IRON OUT. Whenever I need to remove a rusty stain, I use IRON OUT and wash it down the drain. It works great in the toilet and terrific in the sink, and, believe it or not, it doesn't stink. I highly reccommend this great rust remover product, especiallly since it won't dent your wallet.

Our building has so much rust it destroys the fixtures within a few years. So cleaning is never ending. I just sprinkle it in the toilet after a few days of rust build up and it clears the majority of it away without scrubbing.

What can I say? I used this to clean a heavily stained toilet tank, followed the directions, and wham. Looks like new again. All it took was sitting overnight and a light scrubbing in the morning. Won me over.
