Cable Mat

I wasn't initially a fan of this pone. It was more where and how I was trying to use it than it was the item itself. I moved it and I like it more like this. We've had cords running on the floor and had large area rugs meeting over the top of it. Dealing with carpet tape and having them butted together was ineffective and a real pain in the neck. By simply laying this cable m,at on top of that seam the problem's been fixed. There is not trip hazard from the rugs or the cords. The bright yellow with the black border really catches you eye to make you aware of the hazard and seeing how thin and pliable it is almost eliminates the hazard all together. I would recommend this one. I'll be getting another one soon

This is a great cable cover mat that I'm using in my woodworking shop, which has a smooth tile floor. It covers up the tool power cables and extension cords well and I particularly like that the material is dense and the edges don't lift up easily. I was initially skeptical that the groove on the back side of the mat was deep enough to allow a smooth transition but in practice it works very well. They're also easy to move around. I'll definitely be getting some more of these for each of the places where I have cords on the ground. I particularly like this granite color as it hides the dust/dirt well compared to mats that are black.

THE STUDIO 67 CABLE MAT IN GRANITE IS A GREAT ACCESSORY FOR ANY GARAGE, MAN CAVE OR SHE SHEAD. I AM ACTUALLY USING IT BESIDE MY VEHICLE IN THE GARAGE. IT COVERS THE EXTENSION CORD I HAVE RUN ALONG THERE BUT IT ALSO IS A GREAT DIRT AND DUST CATCHER. SINCE I PUT THE MAT DOWN, I HAVE NOTICED I DO NOT HAVE AS MUCH DUST TRACKED INTO THE HOUSE. WHEN GETTING OUT OF MY CAR I STEP ON THE MAT I THINK THAT’S WHAT IS KEEPING THINGS CLEANER. IT HAS GREAT GRIPS ON THE BOTTOM AND HAS NOT MOVED AROUND AT ALL. WONDERFUL PRODUCT.

This mat is a great replacement instead of taping down cords on the floor to reduce tripping hazards. The specifications are metric but the dimensions are about 15 3/4 inches by 47 1/4 inches with rubber backing about 1/10 inch and about 3/8 inch carpet on top. There is about a 2 inch wide, 0.1 inch deep notch/channel running along the length underneath the center of the 15 inch dimension. It lies pretty flat with power cords underneath it and looks good and obvious with the yellow and black border.

The product is listed as washable and appears durable.

I really like this product , works well good looking while performing well, The carpet is tight knit the rubber underlining has some cushion, it has little gripper tips to keep it in place. if i had a gripe it would be the channel for the cord could deeper and could have white safety strips instead of yellow. So may applications in the home , commercially . Im actually using it for a mat in front of my tool box to stand on which a cord goes under. It is a good insulator from the cold cement floor.

I have several cords that are a daily trip hazard. I've tried several different solutions and the best was floor tape. IN addition to it not lasting, it left adhesive all over my cords. I felt this was worth a try. The top is actually carpet. It's a low pile grey toned rug. Much nicer than I anticipated. The rubber mat itself appears to be good quality. It is flexible and rugged. The overall appearance is great. It looks much better than tape and everything else I've tried. The yellow stripes are eye catching as I hoped they would be. Very well constructed too. When I opened the box it had a very foul odor. It was textiles odors but just disgusting. I left it outside overnight and it was better. The biggest drawback is what it is designed to do. I expected a deep channel that would be large enough to run several cords through. Look at the photos (I really zoomed in), The channel is almost too small to measure. It doesn't even grip the concrete floor it lays on. I replaced a trip hazard with a slip hazard. I just doesn't do what I thought it would do. Really disappointed. I could have accomplished the same thing with a welcome mat. I'm not a fan of this one.

This is a nice rubber mat with good thickness. The yellow/black stripped edges really stand out. I really like how the rubber mat is flexible and has the carpet top. It is definitely better than the harder/rigid type cable covers. I selected granite. When it arrived, I realize it has a blue tint to it as well. So it is a blue/gray carpet design. It does have a small ridge in the middle. The flexibility of the mat will help adjust to various cable sizes or number of cables. Very impressed with the visibility and flexibility. This mat will be going with me on weekend conferences to cover the cables I run to power all my devices.

We have a small church that meets in a hotel ballroom. As a result, we setup our sound system every week and the logistics require that we run long lengths of cable from the sound table to the front of the hall for speaker, piano and video. I've been looking for something like a rug or cable management I could run along the floor to protect the wires and keep people from tripping over them in the traffic areas. This rug is perfect! High quality, durable and very low profile at its yellow/black barred edges.
