AnswersI was just about to install this faucet and found there is no apparent magnetic connection either. In fact the replacement of the head appears to be a poor press fit into the receiver. What a waste of time. I going back to the store to return. Closing the last 1/8 inch of space is hard to do. Thank you Kholer for wasting my time with false statements on your packaging!

Answersyou don't have to hold the button to get spray, but it will default to stream when you restart the water

AnswersDespite several other responders claiming that the pull down sprayer is made of metal, it is actually plastic. The plastic is made to look the same as the metal on the rest of the faucet, however, I was still disappointed to find that a faucet at this price range has plastic as a major component.

AnswersYes, every time the faucet turns off it will then turn back on as a stream. It also reverts to a stream while the sprayer is on if the water pressure of your faucet is anything less than full blast.

I love our new faucet and its beautiful. I ordered Kohler and Delta to compare the quality. And Kohler is uncomparably better materials, look, metal quality. Love it. BUT!
The pull -down head does not retrack back properly. There is a very weak tiny magnet that doesnt hold the head. I have to push hart to put it back to its position and It is constantly drops out(( If there is a way to replace the magnet to make this faucet flawless?
It’s gorgeous and even better looking then the pictures. The sprayer is amazing.

The Kohler Rune kitchen faucet is sure to brighten your kitchen and your day.
The faucet is a high-quality, heavy-duty faucet. Well-constructed of quality brass and components, the faucet is easy to install and contains all parts you need. It works on both 1-hole and 3-hole sinks with the included deckplate.
It is best if you replace your angle stops for a more reliable installation. This faucet uses 3/8 Comp. supply lines. Make sure you have plenty of clearance over the sink as the high-arch spout requires a minimum of 19" of clearance.
The design has a clean-lines squarish feel, with a modern flair. And of course, it has all the features you expect in a Kohler faucet, including easy-clean nozzles. I especially appreciate that the flow control handle is labeled HOT and COLD.
The kit includes a soap dispenser and the Vibrant Stainless finish allows you to match other accessories, such as dishwasher air gap, for a complete uniform appearance.
Overall, this is a winner.

This faucet looks great, was very easy to install, & functions great as well. Once the old faucet was removed the installation took less than 30 minutes. A notable feature is the sprayer pattern which sprays the water in a flat line, similar to an oscillating sprinkler. I find this pattern to be much more useful than a circle pattern, as more of an area can be covered at once. The sprayer selection button is easy to use and located on the back.

This faucet was easy to install with simple-to-follow instructions. The long handled wrench was key for removal of old faucet.
I ended up calling Kohler to double check whether I needed to use any plumbing compound or plumber's tape. They were very responsive and helpful, and confirmed that I didn't need any of those things.
The only minor complain is that the spray nosel doesn't retract easily and needs some manual assistance. I'll play with the weight on the hose underneath the sink to see if it helps.

Installation was a snap no need to call a plumber. The new quick connect makes the job easier. Once you have it installed you will see that they incorporated everything you like about a pull down faucet into this Koehler product. First of all they use a magent to dock the sprayer. No more making sure you push the sprayer into its dock. It slips in and the magnets keep it docked until you use it again. Second of all the spray pattern cuts down on the splash you usually get from the old type of faucets. And thirdly the arch is real high so you can still get water for your coffee in the morning if you didn’t do the dishes from the day before (yes this does happen). They also throw in a matching soap pump dispenser. Don’t forget this faucet is returnable in 90 days but I am certain you will love it.

I had a Moen "tulip" faucet in brushed nickel, installed in my kitchen for the last 8+ years, but over time the rubber spray adjustment deteriorated and it leaked slightly at the pull out connection. This time I wanted to find a faucet that had a better spray choice "improved selection method" (no rubber). This faucet has long smooth control bar, no way for it to wear out, and the spray connection to the hose is much better constructed.
The spray pattern is much stronger and in horizontal pattern, not just round, which makes the spray more concentrated, a nice new feature. It also has the hot/cold on off seperated on the handle, so if you want to keep you hot the same it much easier to do. All and all I'd say this is a step up, from my, probably more expensive "tulip" which had a good run.
As for installation (not including the time to clean under my sink), I had the old faucet out and this one installed in under.45 minutes, the new quick connectors do really help make the change go more easily.
