This should fit if you have a cylindrical flush valve. a plastic tube about 3 inches in diameter and maybe 5 inches tall. you should look at it on youtube so you will see how it comes apart. one can break off the post that guides the flush valve by turning it in the wrong way. It only turns 90 degrees. The seal goes on the bottom of the flush valve.
The single washer is all you need. I have never done a toilet repair myself and I am a 75 year old woman. Got clear directions on YouTube.
If you have updated your flush valve to a canister style flush valve, then yes it will fit. Otherwise, it will not fit your toilet. You need to purchase Kohler GP1145626 Flush Valve Gasket which has replaced the 53154 for the Kohler Wellworth Peacekeeper Series toilet.
Hi tfcheng, this is Sarah with Kohler Customer Service. I'm glad to answer your question. The model number on your toilet tank can be found stamped inside the tank, on the back wall. It will likely start with a K3 or K4. To find service parts for your tank, please call our Customer Service team at 1-800-456-4537 (Mon-Fri; 8am-5pm CST) with your model number. Thank you for choosing Kohler.
Never had any problems with mine, so I can't help.

Yes, it will fit. I had the same question when I got it however, it is made as a universal fit for the different Kohler models. It is thicker and appears to be a bit thicker than original equipment.
Yes- Per Kohler web site this gasket will fit a K-4491 toilet https://www.us.kohler.com/us/catalog/svg_viewer.jsp?productId=424533&skuId=391812&brandId=empty&
It worked perfectly for my Kohler Wellworth Classic toilet. Tank model K4632. I bought a universal seal and it leaked because it was slightly too thick. This one fit like a glove.
My new toilet came packaged with a new gasket. I used it for the installation.
