The Mesh Window guard is designed to deter children from playing with/falling through an open window.
Yes you can, this mesh is installed on top of the blinds. The hardware is plastic and can be easily removed or easily pulled off
Question is not clear, but the Mesh Window Guard does comply with ASTM Standard F2090 and passes all current standards.
if this is your own home a welding company could design a metal guard with a finer mesh that could be hinged with a lock to prevent it from being opened by your child but released by an adult. i worked for a company several years ago and we special designed interior guards for individual needs. We used steel but todays company's can make it out of lighter less bulky materials.
The Mesh Window Guard has a metal support bar at the top and bottom, so depending on the size of the window and the placement of the mesh window guard, it may be able to be opened without removing. However, once installed, it does have quick release hardware, so it's able to be removed and reinstalled very easily.
The Mesh Window Guard comes with plastic brackets that would need to be installed into the window frame.
the windows I need to secure are two x two, can the mesh be adjusted height wise also?
