These lights are great for a small tree. They are bright colors. Using the button, you have the choice of turning on at a set time for 6 hours nightly, on until turned of. and off. It requires 3 AA batteries. No cord to worry about.

Battery operated Christmas lights set of 2
I received the lights today. They are supposed to work by a timer, 1 set works well, the other set WILL NOT shut off, I have to remove 1 of 3 batteries to turn them off. In order to return the defective item, I HAVE to return both of them, very, very disappointed!!!!
