This is a great set with so many rivet sizes. You get from M3-M12 and #6 to 1/2" rivet nuts all organized in a plastic box. It also includes the tool/wrench needed to remove the mandrels. The removal and installation of the mandrels is pretty straight forward and the plastic containers they come in are labeled with the size. The tool provides great leverage making installing the rivet nuts easy without a lot of exertion. I like the the case can hold everything you need. The rivet nuts can be installed in different types of metal and plastic. Great for applications where the threaded portion of the nut is not accessible. Overall a great tool that you never knew you absolutely needed. But, the instructions need improvement. The instructions for changing out the mandrels are ok and after a few practice attempts you can figure it out. The instructions on how to use the tool need to be more detailed especially about adjusting for different material thickness.

Good quality tool. Solid case. I ordered for my husband who has an autobody shop. He stated the tool in this kit works extremely well with plenty of hardware included. Very organized set with a large selection of rivets. Great for repairing stripped threads. Ideal for blind spots. No welding needed. He calls it his secret weapon. He highly recommends.

This is a tool you didn't know you needed. So if you never used one before, basically you need to put a screw to metal or plastic. So mark the spot to put a insert at , drill the hole to size and then put the correct size screw rivet on the Tool insert to drill hole and squeeze the handle and then unscrew the tool and that all. This different size of rivet are awesome to have this tool kit is a must have for someone that is a diy doer.

The rivet nut set has a very large selection of sizes and comes with the heads and rivet nuts for 15 different sizes. This rivet nut tool can be used to insert a rivet nut into any flat metal that you need to bolt something to. I wanted to bolt a fan to my metal pergola and needed this to place a couple of nuts into the metal to bolt the fan mounting bracket to. The carrying case is nice and sturdy and holds all the parts, heads and rivets nicely. Now onto trying to use it. The instructions that come with the set are just horrible. They are poorly translated from another language and make absolutely no sense. The company needs to have someone rewrite the instructions in English instead of trying to translate them from another language. I ended up finding a video on the internet for a similar tool to figure out how to use it since I had never used one of these before. Also, I could not figure out how to change to a different sized head with the included instructions, they are just worthless. I definitely recommend finding a video of how to use a rivet nut tool before attempting to use it. It is a shame as it is a nice tool set and works great, but the company needs to work on the instructions. After finally figuring out how to change the head and use the tool, it is pretty simple to use. Still not quite sure how far to screw the head on or how far to screw the rivel nut onto the head but I think that will come with practice and use of the tool. My first attempts at using it were just fine, so I’m not sure it is important to have it exact. Since it was freezing outside and I could not use it for its intended purpose, I practiced using a piece of cardboard and it amazingly worked just fine. Overall, I think it is a well-made tool, comes with a lot of size options and lots of rivet nuts and comes with a sturdy carrying case to keep everything together. But it needs some better instructions to be able to use it. Taking off 1 star for the instructions alone.

This kit is a total game changer for making repairs or fabricating high quality projects around the house or shop. Sometimes you just need two things to be joined together, but still able to be taken back apart again later. Say goodbye to the old nut and bolt where you have to have three hands to get it all started and then you drop one or the other 5 times before you can get them started. With this kit you can permanently install the nut on your work, so that all you have to worry about is spinning a bolt through to lock it down or to let it loose again later. The versatility of these will allow a heavy duty application down to a thumbscrew bolt, making it super simple to create very user friendly items.

This order arrived in a broken box. It was not shipped in a shipping box, just the store packaging. It did not hold up and parts were lost. I returned the items I did receive and was issued a credit. I did not reorder from Home Depot to purchase this item afterwards. Poor packaging will ruin a sale every time.

The good is that it comes with a great variety of die sizes, and a starter pack of rivnut The eh is that it is cheaply made, the wrench poorly finished with sharp burr that has to be filed off. Also, the funky gauge is not of much use. Use care when ordering replacement rivnut as the OD can require unusual bit sizes. The delivery was eh, as if the delivery person walked 3 more feet to the door threshold, the box would not have gotten wet.

In the middle of a good sized job, my old rivnut gun quit. Ordered this and not only was it delivered quickly, it was easily setup. Completed the job in much less time had I been still using the old tool.
