AnswersIt depends on the size. It is possible the paper could fit in the outbound mail slot. A large city newspaper with weekend ads might not fit, but a rural, rolled newspaper could. Of course the carrier would have to open the door to stuff it in--something they might not do.

Comes fully assembled, super easy to place on the matching post. This thing is a beast, weighing over 50lbs, so it will surely last for years and combined with the top rate finish, elevates the curb appeal of any property. My other mailbox sure was flimsy by comparison and it didn't cost that much less. This is the heavyweight champ of mailboxes. Buy it if you care about details and quality.

First of all, the delivery guy had to use a dolly to bring it to our porch, it is solid. Installing the unit was a breeze, mounted to our existing wood post, had it up in no time. Looks and works great, just as advertised.

Very Sturdy and very good security features. Our mail carrier likes that it's big enough for small packages. I'm happy with the purchase.
This box is about 40 lbs. We first installed a treated 4x4 in cement to add stability and then slid the metal post over the 4x4 and into the cement. We did this because the spot it needed to go in was slightly lower than the street and the metal post alone would not have gone deep enough in the cement to provide good stability for the heavy mailbox. Since it was late fall when we did this, we allowed the cement to cure a few days before mounting the mailbox. In the attached photos, the white rectangle does not exist on the box. That is my attempt to skew my address :)

Had a mail theft so wanted a locking mailbox, but one that could take small packages like our old, unsecured box. This fits the bill perfectly. It is quite heavy and would require a sledgehammer or power drill to break into. Our mailbox is embedded in a stucco pillar and is a different shape from the old box. We hired a stucco contractor to do the installation. The bronze box goes beautifully with the light brown color of the pillar.

Not being able to see with my hands before buy-ordering...
Not being able to see with my hands before buy-ordering this,
if you open the door, you can see the inside bottom back and of course some mail inside,
so if you use a stick with gum ,, you could fish mail out ,, but not packages,
didn't realize that but if you watch the video now it is obvious,
i would deduct a half star for that.
otherwise all else this is strong steel and happy about that,
also seen on youtube that this box will not be opened with simple tools that other brands will fall apart ..
which is the reason i bought this for the size to hold a week's mail or more and the strength,
and is bigger capacity than the boss model.
why buy the cheaper other brands $100 ones if a screwdriver will open it and then becomes worthless

We replaced our typical rural curbside box after a series of mail theft in our community. I ordered the Package Master on-line and had it sent to the local store which was a breeze. When the Customer Service Clerk asked me to bring the cart around because my order was very heavy I was quite surprised by the weight and solid structure of this box. Very easy to install with basic hand tools and a drill so I would say a first time DIY could get it done. Really, removing the old box was more difficult. Box is really a decent size and will hold small packages and the medium size soft mailer bags. Again, it is a solid structure made with heavy gauge steel. Our Postman came by while I was installing it and said there are a few on the route and he liked them. I am not one to leave my mail out for extended periods of time but I have peace of mind knowing that my mail is secure till I get home.
