Yes, I used this to insulate the all of the metal ductwork and boots I my house. Make sure the duct is dry before applying and making sure to seal all seams with foil tape so that condensation does not continue to occur under the insulation.

I just used this wonderful material to insulate my two door garage door. My objective was to make it cooler in the hot Florida summers but it turns out that it is warmer in the cooler nights also. An additional benefit is that it made a noticeable noise reduction with the function or the garage door. Easy to work with, inexpensive and very functional. I will be looking for "other applications" for this product. I would highly recommend this product!

This is perfect size for my 6" duct which I am installing for the kitchen range hood. Insulated inside the shroud inside the kitchen to reduce noise and heat loss in the winter. Will insulate the rest in the attic to prevent cold air dumping down into the kitchen in winter. The insulation has reflective shell and a good 3" overlap to help cover the seam and tape it neatly. This product is perfect for my project.
