The Master Flow 8 in. x 6 in. Round Reducer is made of galvanized steel. It features hemmed collar edges for enhanced strength and a secure fit. The reducer is used to transition from a 8 in. pipe to a 6 in. pipe in an HVAC system. It is suitable for most HVAC applications.

You can either purchase a couple with both ends crimpled or purchase a crimpling tool and crimp the end on your own.

Yes, this item is 30 gauge but HD sells another galvanized fitting that looks just like this one although not as shiny which is 24 gauge and costs three times as much.

Just what we needed
Bought an exhaust kit for our new range hood only to realize that the range hood was 8 inches and the exhaust kit 6 inches. This reducer was just what we needed.
