Rua 1-Spray 6 in. Single Wall Mount Handheld Shower Head in Chrome

I got the Rua Modern Halo hand shower spray to replace an older model by a different manufacturer. It was well packaged and the chrome looks especially classy in my shower - and any shower or bathroom for that matter. It also comes with a 2 gallon per minute flow reducer which is great for conserving water. In our motorhome we currently have about 40psi of water pressure and this head produces a very strong, exhilarating spray that is very relaxing.

This hand shower was very easy to set up. It has a nice size halo design, that is also lightweight which is a definite plus. It has a chrome finish and has a longer than average hose. When you turn it on it has a unique spraying output with enough pressure that you would not believe you are using less water. It is a piece of art and function all at once. It only has one spray that cannot be adjusted.

Installing the Rua Modern halo design hand shower was a breeze. The real surprise was the first shower with the Methven Rua hand spray. My home as average water pressure and I found this hand spray optimized that pressure and then some. It's difficult to describe the water flow and it's impact on the body. Water exits the hand spray in what appears to be a sheet that breaks into tiny droplets that delivers a soft high volume spray. It's not like other hand showers that deliver larger droplet with pelting force. It's also not like other hand showers that try to mimic rain droplets. It quickly and thoroughly rinsed shampoo out of my long hair and was very relaxing and soothing on the shoulders and back. You can tell there's a fair amount of engineering in their Aurajet patented technology to deliver this shower experience. In addition to water efficiency, the modern design is a bonus - the Rua Halo hand shower is certainly a unique design. All fittings are secure and quality made. I was able to install with only finger tightening and a couple turns of plumbers tape. The Rua Halo can be used as overhead shower or as hand held attached to main shower head or rain head and shower bar. Note however there isn't adjustment for different spray patterns - it's not that kind of hand spray. And, don't be fooled with the weight of the Rua Halo - it's feather light and so easy to manuever around the body. Even the hose is ultra light and very flexible. But the construction isn't cheap plastic...The Rua Halo is constructed with a high quality polymer to ensure high limescale resistance and better water temperature balance. I'm impressed with this hand spray and that says something - I've tried many.

This RAU MODERN HALO DESIGN 1-Spray Hand Shower in Chrome has kind of cool looking design and I do like the way it sprays, almost like a rain shower above your head and this one was very easy to assemble, has great directions and 10 min. to install, not bad for a shower arm !! It also makes easy cleaning of the shower, I can soap it down and spray the whole shower from the inside !! I also like a water saver, this one says it will use 28% less water and has a long hose and arm mount, that's a big plus !!

Great shower head with a nice long hose too! Although the spray is not adjustable it works fine for rinsing hair and soap off the body. Easy to assemble and install, less that 5 minutes from start to finish. Be sure you have your own teflon tape as there isn't any provided in the package. There is, however, an insert to change the flow from 1.8 GPM to 2 GPM is you so desire. I like this product and it's much much better than what I had!

The Methven contemporary style halo head spray hand power shower nozzle with an eco friendly water saving design is definitely striking in it's appearance. Perfect for our guest bathroom. Shower system kit comes fully packed with hose and arm mount for a very simple install. Provides twice the water coverage compared to a standard shower head due to it's geometric design. Price point is a bit on the high end scale specially for a chrome finish but works relatively well with above average water pressure and lifetime warranty. Manufactured in New Zealand.

This Halo design 1 spray hand shower is lightweight and very nice to use. It’s was packaged well for shipping and cake with all parts nicely packaged Very easy to install and looks very nice. Clean look and various options for spray. It has a very comfortable spray for up close and hard to reach areas. Very easy to use while washing my dog as well.

Different is the best adjective I can come up with to describe this shower head. It has a very modern look to it, to match a modern bathroom. The chrome matches the starlight chrome of my Grohe fixtures perfectly. The spray pattern produced is not a pattern at all, but more of a cloud of water. So if you are used to shower head that produces pins and needles or a sharp stream of water, this will not do that. The spray is soft... not high pressure, not low pressure, but just a soft pressure somewhere in between. Price wise, I'd say it's a little too much for what it is. Installation is easy if you have plumbing experience, but the instructions could be better, especially for those who are not as comfortable with plumbing. The instructions suggest that you have a licensed plumber do the work, but I'd think most plumbers would laugh at you (maybe not to your face) if you called them to install this shower head. I did not have any issues with mine leaking. A rubber washer is included, and if hand tightening doesn't do the trick, just apply a little more pressure with channel locks, but not so much pressure that you mangle the gasket.

I received my Methven Rua Modern Halo shower-head today; it comes with a very flexible hose. Many other hand-held shower-heads come with a stiff hose which I don't like. This Methven model is easy to put together, and it stays in place nicely, not moving around from the water pressure. I first tried it without the water restrictor installed. It has a lot of flow, so much that I did install the restrictor and the water flow is still very acceptable. This shower-head puts out a unique pattern of water, unlike any I've seen before. Overall this is a high-quality shower-head that functions very well.

You can feel the difference in how much water hits your skin. When you first turn it on there is definitely a difference in the way the nozzles spray . Attached is a picture from the side and top that clearly shows how the sprays cross over and create more sprays but are still propelled enough to feel the tingle. The square head is a nice design if you can handle having only one setting and skipping the message or tight nozzle pattern for cleaning. I used this to wash down the walls and glass doors. It was better than I expected because it does have force even though it does not hive the ability to tighten up the pattern. The handle is very light weight and even with the hose attached it still feels lighter than other models. The chrome is very bright.
