This Mighty Mule Push Button Gate Opener (FM132) can be mounted for indoor or covered outdoor use. This is a convenient way to open or close any Mighty Mule Swing or Slide Gate Opener from up to 1000 ft., away. Hard wires directly to the gate openers control board with the use of low voltage wire, required (RB509 not included).
  • Adds convenience by allowing homeowner to open the gate for guests, while still maintaining the security and safety that mighty mule gates and gate openers provide

    A:  Richard, we can only recommend uses low voltage wire part # RB509-500 which is sold at Home Depot. You are welcome to try the thermostat wire and since you have used it before. Thank you

      A:  YF, depending on the model of gate operator you have there is a control panel with a timer switch. This is where the timing adjustment is made and the button just is the way to open and close. So to answer your questions: Will it reset and automatically close the gate without having to push the button a second time? Yes. Can the delay be set to keep gate open for a set length of time? Yes.               This push button for my automatic gate was desperately needed. My gate opener came with two remotes. I have one that’s generally in my car and my dad keeps the other. I’ve had friends come over that arrive before I get there so they have to wait outside the property. There are also times when I need my propane tank refilled. The company I use will bill me so I don’t need to be there but I’d rather not leave my gate open all day. With this button the driver can open and close the gate himself. Installation is simple. Installing this button where you can reach it from outside the gate goes against the instructions but it’s what I needed. You obviously don’t want to advertise to the world that it’s there but I have a camera at my entrance so I’m not concerned.

                  Needs to be hard WIRED
                  This is a wired unit. Maybe I missed that in the write up but I was looking for wireless buttons for my gates. I wanted to have a button by my front door so I could hit it to open the gate out front. I cant really comment on quality or value since for me running 100' of wire under my lawn is not a option.
