                Unfortunately neither knife comes with s storage compartment for additional blades. They both do only use half the blade so you can switch the blade cutting edge but that is it.

                          Take it back to the store. They will show you how to insert the blade properly. Then, it CANNOT come out without you releasing the blade lock.

                              It has lifetime limited warranty. Read page seven of the PDF At https://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfImages/42/42635b52-258e-41f7-95af-bfc3dfa61812.pdf I had a different (belt clip) problem with my knife and I called Milwaukee at 1800sawdust, And they had me send them a video of the problem and then asked for my address and sent me a new one. Problem resolved.

                              The Camo Flip Knife, what is the specific kind of steel used?

                              I looked at my Camo Flip Knife and the blade does not have any type of markings on it at all. It could be stainless steel, but it is not marked stainless steel on the blade. It is a relatively inexpensive knife, but stainless steel seems to be a obvious choice, as who wants a rusty knife blade. This Camo Flip Knife has to be deployed manually also. There is no spring assist on the blade. It does not flip out like the box cutter, as the blade does not have enough weight to allow it. It is your basic knife from what I have experienced. Not too sharp and not too dull, in a plastic Camo handle.

                              Excellent utility knife, sturdy built and sharp
                              Over the years, I have owned many different utility knives. This Milwaukee is by far the best one I have used. It's light weight, uses standard blades you can find anywhere online or at Homedepot. The knife design is very sturdy metal built. You can flip the blade out with one hand by pressing the button and flick the knife. Comes with a belt clip, and what makes this knife different from others is, it has a groove in section for you to strip cable quickly if you are working on cabling, and theres another groove when ths knive is in the close position to cut a cable, twain, or a string quickly. I really like the design of this knife. This is definitly a game change for my as I use a this knife a lot on the job.

                                Good knife - Better if pocket clip did not break
                                Love the knife - I have had it 5+ years. Blades change easily, very durable. The pocket clip works on my work pants, and the clip doubles as a tool clip for the 12V Milwaukee tools. However, the clip has broken, and Milwaukee customer service has not responded to my emails.

                                    This is my "GO TO" utility knife for just about everything. In the closed position you can easily cut string or small cord with the exposed part of the blade in the handle. Even when open, a notch on the blade holder allows for the same operation. The side mounted safety-lock button is key to making this knife safe and easy to open and close. With time, mine has loosened up a bit and the blade drops out easily when the button is depressed. Blade replacement is simple and efficient using the push-button and slide method. I use Sheetrock blades on this for added rigidity and they seat just fine. All metal construction and a open-wire belt clip (that doesn't snag or scrap my leather belts) again makes this my only choice in utility knife at this point. Fits great in my hand with a generous index finger position for firm grip. I own five (5) of Model: 48-22-1901, as it appears they are phasing this out for a newer model #

                                    WARNING BEFORE YOU BUY, USES NON-STD BLADES!!!, SEE PICS AND MILWAUKEE LETTER Unbeliveable, these don't work with your industry / historical / current standard blades (Stanely 10-099 knife blades). READ REVIEWS (i think the great reviews are before a blade change, the poor reviews are after the first blade change) This knife worked so well I just about threw out my handful of 10-099's (i generally keep several w/ new blades in them so i don't have to stop and change them during the day) UNTIL i chg'd the blade in this idiot knife! When i chg'd the blade with a std Stanly blade ("#11921K Heavy-Duty Utility Blades (100-Pack) " the blade simple PULLED / FELL OUT everytime i made a cut! Contacted Milwaukee (actually brought blade into Seattle location since it's only a few blocks from me) and they told me the issue was i was using NON-MILWAUKEE BLADES! They said to buy the Milwaukee blades (TWICE AS EXPENSIVE) and offered me a free sample blade, really...? (i brought the product into the location, waited several days for them to studying this and reach their conclusion). (Rant Warning) My shop is full of Milwaukee products but i've been telling friends for the last few years they've sold out and have really just fallen to the commodity tools market, very disappointing but oh well, for Milwaukee profit is profit these days, reputation is for the days of old i guess. Anyway, hope this saves you the frustration (and time loss) i experienced.

                                      How many of those little razor snap knives do you have? I must have 10or so floating around my junk drawer. Half of them don’t have blades. I am too lazy to seek out the replacements. They are all different. These knives use a standard utility razor. Here is the best part. It already comes with a 50 pack of replacements blades. I can buy any other blade and it will work. The knives are well made with a lock blade. The blades are tight in the knife. No lose blades. Metal & composite construction made to last. I could not like these more!!!!

                                      Great Knives, Nice Combo
                                      I have been using milwaukee knives for a few years. These knives are great. Drop, kick, throw, pry, haha. Anything you throw at these knives, they just keep working. They are just made well. The Utility Knife will hold just about any style blade that has the universal fitting at the top. The blades change in seconds. No tools are needed to change the blade. The knife has slots for wire, string, or rope cutting. Also has a safety that locks the knife closed or open. Don't forget the belt clip! This does NOT hold extra blades. The Camo Knife is similar to any other pocket knife, you just get the Milwaukee quality. I have had many of these with the red handle, its nice to have a change. I have yet to have one of these rust. no matter if I sharpen it with a stone or a grinder, it gets sharp and hold an edge really well. This also has a locking mechanism that requires use of your thumb to close the knife.

                                      Great till it falls off your pocket
                                      I loved this knife. Handle was comfortable for larger hands. Nice and heavy. The downside, the clip on the back. It loosens over time. Eventually, it wont hold on pants pocket and you end up losing them. Other than that, I would buy again. I just lost the third one. Time to find another brand with a better clilp
