Q:Can I just purchase the Milwaukee contractor tool belt and pouches without buying the suspension rig? I already have the rig. Only option I can find is the electrician tool belt without rig.

          Amazing
Best belt I've had. Plan on getting through the rest of school with this. The suspenders are key. Love them. Super easy to put on at the start of the day. Great amount of pockets etc. Couldn't be happier with it .

            Extremely comfortable
Milwaukee’s work belt with suspension rig is very well designed making it very functional and durable to withstand any job site. Made of 1680D nylon with riveted seams, you can really load up the belt without concern for the seams coming apart. With a total of 29 pockets, you have many different options to load up your work belt with the tools you need for the job. All metal hardware ensures that the work belt is durable. With handles on the pouches as well as the suspenders, you are able to hang your rig easily on the job site and transporting your rig fully loaded is easy with the pouch handles. Also included in one of the paunches is a puncture resistant pocket where you can store a sharp tool like a jab saw. The suspenders also have a pocket to store your smart phone. I was excited to purchase this rig for a complete rebuild on a property that I recently purchased.I really wanted to get the weight of the belt off of my waist so it wouldn’t pull down on my pants. This always caused problems for me going up and down ladders or climbing up scaffolding. The suspenders do a fantastic job of distributing the weight of the tool belt on my shoulders without causing any discomfort or strain at the end of the day. There are plenty of pockets for you to load the tool belt up the way you need to. The smart phone pocket doesn’t work for me as I have a really big case on my phone for extra protection so I keep a small flashlight in that pocket which always comes in handy. I like to attach tool lanyards when working on ladders which attach nicely to the rig so my power tools don’t fall if accidentally dropped. Overall the rig is very comfortable to have on which to me is the most important factor. I am happy with the comfort and functionality of the rig!!

              Like the bags very durable.
Use for framing work. Bags very durable little bulky. Been using less than year and belt rivets rusting and falling out. Suspender clips as well rusting up. All due to sweat issue I am assuming???

Decent rig that needs mods to be excellent!
I was sick of not being able to carry everything I needed, and also working in the rain and getting my leather rig soaked everyday. This belt solved both those problems wonderfully. Very tough and water proof with more pockets than I have tools for. However, like almost all new rigs I've bought, they need simple modifications to make them excellent. This one needs the pouches secured to the adjustable belt and then that belt secured to the padded belt that the harness is attached to. Also once the desired harness strap adjustments are found, the adjustment buckles need to be secured in place. Failure to do this results in pouches that slip and slide everywhere on the belt and a harness that slowly sags to its lowest setting. I've confirmed this by watching the two other guys on my crew with this exact same rig struggle with theirs. Now that mine is modded, it's the best rig I've owned! Secure it however you like, but I always use 6-32 machine screws 3/4" long with washers and lock nuts to secure the pouches and a traditional saddle stitch to secure the harness straps from slipping. Enjoy!

Not necessarily a universal fit and the rig straps keep sliding down

                High quality, comfortable
Anyone who uses a work belt a lot knows that the shoulder belt style is essential to extended comfort. Good amount of padding, but still fits tight to the body. Material feels very thick and durable. Good number of pockets. Does include the front pocket for a smaller cell phone. Pricey, but if you need a professional grade work belt this should last you years and save your back.

                Professional tool belt
This tool belt is really solidly built. It has a lot of pockets and hooks to hang a lot of tools. It has a good strong belt built in and suspenders to hold the belt in place with a lot of heavy tools in it. It also has handles built in so you can carry it around when it is full of tools. It is probably a little overkill for what I need most of the time but there will probably be some jobs I can use it on.
