What are the exact dimension for the laptop pocket? Will it fit my 10.5x14.25 HP laptop?

Asked by HVACPanda October 3, 2018

Answers

My Dell laptop is 10.2 x 15.1 (15.6" display) and is a pretty tight fit on the width. That 10.5" width is right on the verge of not fitting, being only about 1/4" wider than mine if it goes in it would be a tight fit for sure and 10.5 is likely at the max width. hope that helps.

Yes, I have a Greenlee tone generator, Brothers P-Touch labeler, and four pair tester in the big pocket with room to spare. I also carry a laptop in the back pocket.

Is it made in America ?

Asked by Alex June 5, 2018

Answers

No, There is a "Made in China" label on it. I was hoping to give my son (who is in the electrical trade) an American made backpack for Christmas. I did not find the label in small print until after I purchased it. He uses it every day at work anyway as he could not find any other backpack made in America including Klein.

how water proof or water resistant is it?

Asked by luppo June 1, 2018

Answers

It’s not water proof, but it is water resistant. It takes a good amount of water to penetrate the bag.

Heavy duty in some areas, others not
I use this bag mainly as a laptop backpack with a notebook, screwdriver and nutdriver inside. After 2.5 years the zipper is broken, and now the bag will not close. I'm not sure how this would have held up if I would have been carrying real tools, as I have handled this gently from day 1.

It's self-supporting meaning it stands up on its own even while open. This is well made and very tough. There is a section for laptops, tablets, and/or folders and notebooks. It's comfortable to carry as well. I typically carry it over one shoulder. I use it for network installation tools. The outer panel is great for holding cables, power cords and etc.. I like to keep a small notebook and pencil in the pocket on the top of the front cover. Before anyone goes bonkers, that square brown thing shown in the computer and folder section photograph is just a piece of wood stuck in there to hold it open so you can see the interior. No! It doesn't come with the bag and no, there aren't any tools included. It's just the empty backpack. To find the specifications on this, go to the specification section of Home Depot's website for this item, or Google it. I will not compare this to other bags for you because this is the only one I am familiar with.

Love the Backpack and all of the compartments
I use the backpack everyday for work mostly for my laptop but love having the access to all of my hand tools which are also 90% milwaukee. There are a couple of rips that are not from misuse that bother me, one seems that the hard plastic support in the back has wore a hole through the fabric and the other is a strap on the front is ready to break. I take pride in my tools and hate to see these wear out.

Backpack isn’t worth purchasing
Had this backpack for less than a year and it Backpack already ripped beside the zipper. I have had other brand backpacks that lasted five years before ripping or tearing. This purchase was a big disappointment.

Great design. Poor zipper material.
Great tool backpack design with plenty of storage. Not too bulky or uncomfortable. Only complaint I have is the zipper gets stuck and is not durable enough for every day use. I have been using my backpack for a little over a week and already noticed one of the zipper is starting to tear. Considering the price I expected overall good quality. Don’t recommend buying if you plan on using it everyday.
