Can this be thrown in the laundry to make it look dazzling new again?

Asked by Ash March 8, 2020

Answer

It should be ok on a gentle cycle, however I would air hang dry it . I have got mine wet all the way thru using this on my Motorcycle in bad rain . Check that the dividers do not have any material in between the fabric as this can distort the inner bag when machine washed. Personally I would just wash by hand with a sponge with a good laundry cleaner. Also consider using a water resistant spray after it drys as the material would need another coating.

What are loops in front of several back packs for?

Asked by Tim August 20, 2019

Answers

I use them for attaching items like water bottles, tools etc. They and also be used for straping down the bag as attach points. Use of bungees, carabiners, and other tiedown items can slip in the loop to secure things .

Good Backpack.
Really good Backpack. Well made. The fabric feel very thick. I wish the laptop was in a separate pocket with its own zipper and some hard plastic reinforcement. Too much pressure from tools can damage something like a Surface pro. Happened to my coworker. It would be great if it had small zippered pockets on the sides where the tape holder is and in the front. I really like the big outside pocket because i keep my Surface pro inside the bag, but when i know im going to be using it a lot it fits in that outside tablet pocket. I would trade some of the big inside pockets for more small tool pockets. Overall i would buy again. I apologize for having another Brand's screwdriver ( the only non-Milwaukee tool I've owned in many years) but we need an updated M4 screwdriver. We need more torque, a LED light and make the charger USB powered.

I Wanted to like this pack but it just didn't come though for my needs. I use Dewalt tough case system for my tool storage, but needed something for off hours service calls when I am on my motorcycle. I read the reviews and thought this would be a good system but I did not work for me. The pack is very narrow. I store my tools in an electricians pouch that can be removed and attached to my belt once on the job. I also have a wrench roll, my impact driver, meter, etc. with these tools loaded it was very difficult to close the bag and I found myself having to pull out all my tools and then repack every time I needed something. I would recommend this for a driver, a meter, and a laptop. Maybe a few wrenches but that's about it. I`m a Milwaukee fan boy but ended up purchasing the Carhartt Legacy deluxe. I initially thought the Milwaukee would blow the Carhartt away but I was mistaken.

The bag struggles to stay upright! For some reason n they built this bag with the back part leaninng foward. So everytime you set it down it has a tendency to lean forward. If you have tools in the front pouch and nothing in the back it will definately tip over. I have the Milwaukee Ultimate backpack and that bag has no problem staying upright at all. I'm very disappointed in this bag because I specifically bought it to set on the floor upright. I'm in construction and I didn't want my laptop/tablet bag rolling all over the dirt. Other than that it's a good size bag and everthing else is fine so far.

This is my EDC at work, I am a General Maintainance Engineer at a hotel/golf resort in Palm Harbor, Florida. I fit my common hand tools, my impact driver, my milwaukee shockwave 48-89-4631 and 48-32-4023, an Irwin impact series tapcom 8pc kit, 2 husky brand small parts organizers, and even a stick of deodorant in case I need it. I also keep a larger husky organizer in the front pocket. This bag is great, I love using it. The padding on the straps makes the weight carry evenly and comfortably, the zipper is nice and strong, you don't fumble it. I've had this for a couple weeks and I love it, the material is great and it feels sturdy, I feel safe entrusting it tools in this bag and this brand. Only wish it had a hammer slot.

As a service plumber, I chose this bag so I can keep my hands free to carry larger tools (hole hawgs, sawzalls etc.) and misc. parts (shower trims, or lav faucets etc...) to my workspace in as few trips as possible. it does its job well, and helps keep my tools organized (plenty of pockets to arrange small hand tools like pliers, nut drivers, level). The front open pocket is handy for keeping a small flashlight, some pens, a knife, and rags, But not much else. the small zipper compartment is a bit redundant, but I guess it's a good spot for your wallet or maybe some paperwork.. Sturdy zippers and overall strong build quality. It's also comfortable. It weighs around 30 pounds with everything I have in it, but you dont really notice it because of the thick padding on the straps and back side of the pack. Really, the only negative for me is the laptop sleeve because I have no need for it. all in all a good pack for service applications. I dont think I'd take it to a commercial jobsite, at least not as a tool bag.

This is a well made backpack and has a lot of compartments and holders for tools. This is typical Milwaukee quality I've coe to expect. The material is very heavy and the design is good with plenty of compartments on the outside and the inside. Hey you can't have too many places to stash things. I tend to load a baf up pretty heavily and it seems like by the time I"m done I'm having to dig around a lot to find anything I need half the time. I think with all the ways to stash things here that should help with this. It's on the pricey side at a glance for what it is but it appears to be built to stand up to years or real work. My stuff gets lugged all over creation and I need something that can stand up to being tossed around a lot. I think this fits the bill. I like the pads on the straps too. This is how they should be made with good non-slip surfaces and plenty of padding to help when you are carrying a loaded pack a long way. Some of the places I have to go it is a long hike into the work area so every little bit helps.

This backpack is built tough and has a well planned out organization for tons of storage. The padded laptop sleeve fits my 14" laptop with a little room to spare. There are four larger pockets on the back wall that are big enough for driver bit cases, laptop cables, and even an umbrella. The base of the bag has plenty of room for a few larger 18V tools, and the front of the bag has 5 pockets for pliers, screwdrivers, or other hand tools. The best feature of this bag is that it stands upright on its own - you won't have to lean it against anything. Plus, there's a separate hanging loop at the top back, so it can be hung flush against a wall by a screw or hook. Between the padded straps, two water bottle holders, and padded lumbar section, this bag will keep you comfortable. It's a great bag, and I expect mine to last for years with how well it's built.

Low profile backpack. Nice heavy duty ballistic material , zippers and heavy duty base. Compartments for just about everything . Computer storage is weak . The padded straps are nice and wide for comfort the exterior raised back area works nice for air flow between the bag and body and pads you from objects in the bag. I also like that this straps to a portable dolly (optional) which is great if you’ve loaded this up with heavy items and need to tote them a distance. . The bag itself has some weight , once you start filling it up it can get very heavy. I like the fact the bag keeps it form when loaded and will stand on the ground without falling over. So a few things I don’t like are. The main compartment doesn’t open all the way to swing allowing the opening side to lay flat on a surface . The compartments for a lap top might not be the best protection. The remedial adjustment straps are strong but flimsy looking . Lastly I would love to see this bag have a removable inner pocket chamber wit different storage chamber options. All in all I do like this bag if you work on the run , need to travel with your specific tools it great . So many straps and pockets loops you should be able to carry just about anything .
