Required accessory
Works great. It’s not for the normal Aerogarden, it’s for the Twelve. Which holds -4- plants.
I bought a couple systems from their startup campaign. This accessory or the transplant system which takes Bonnie plants works great.
To improve it? Sell refills of just the plugs, without the net pot.

Twelve seed starter kit.. comes with 4 pods..
These are the ONLY seed pods available, and they are listed as a aero garden twelve seed starter kit, and apparently hide the fact that it only comes with FOUR at the bottom of the page — classy... what a rip off.

Thank you for your comment. The Miracle Gro Twelve Seed Starting System is only compatible with the Miracle Gro Twelve Indoor Growing System. It is not intended for use with AeroGarden models. Sorry for the confusion.

I just received my Miracle-Gro Twelve hydroponic garden for Christmas. This kit was included, but I bought an extra one for later use. I planted lettuce from seeds and they sprouted in about 1-1/2 days! I did some research and found that these sponges are reusable; my "Grow Anything" sponges for my smaller Harvest Aerogardens are not, so I bought a bag of them. If I can re-use the 8 that I now have, I should have lettuces, tomatoes and herbs - even flowers - whenever I want.
