My sincerest apologies for the delay in responding, I have been travelling and out of the office. As someone else said, yes the straps come with the unit.
The instructions say to lift the mower to the height you want and then turn the crank backwards to release the tension. Once you're ready to lower the lift, you have to turn the crank forward until you feel the tension. It's at this tine that you can squeeze the release handle that allows you to lower the mower by turning the crank backwards. Hope this helps.
Yes, it lifts mine easy and in 10 minutes I can have blades replaced using an impact wrench.
I have a Legacy and have used the lift several times with the deck attached. My only problem was the wheel straps aren't long enough to secure the front tires. I just used some tie downs.
Yes my son uses the one I purchased on a 52” & 73” Zturns without any issues
The Pro model is required for your model JD.
I am sorry for the delay in responding. The mower would work with the Mojack Pro. I always advise customers with stand-on mowers that sometimes the back of their mower will rub/hit the ground and make it hard to come back down. The caution is to not take it too high because of the configuration of the rear on some of the stand behind mowers. I think you would also find that the HDL lift that carried in stock at Home Depot would more than satisfy your needs for a mower lift without needing the Pro model. Be sure to measure the wheel width so you know if it fits within the 47.5" that the HDL has available. Also with the front center roller on your mower, the HDL configuration of lift with not come into contact with the roller. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to contact us directly at info@themojack.com
This should work just fine for your Stander.

The inside of the tire measurement would be 14.5"
