RF operated wireless control. Battery operated (CR 2032 battery included), lasts up to 5-years with normal use. Luminaire on/off control and 0-100% brightness control with fan on/off button and 6 speed fan control. Includes Winter/Summer mode switch to reverse fan for warm or cool air flow.     A:  Hi Fanguy -- yes - this fan can be hard wired into a regular toggle switch. However, this fan has a receiver + DC motor so there will be a slight delay as the receiver processes the commands from the switch.

      A:  Both the RF wall control unit and remote control can safely operate up to 4 fans. In some cases where the fans are installed in close range and proximity, you are able to pair more than 4.

          Had to replace the RF version with Bluetooth but once...
          Had to replace the RF version with Bluetooth but once I had that, it paired with the fan perfectly. however the reason I had to replace the original Bluetooth remote was because I opened the remote to replace the batteries and the whole electrical board came apart and it was impossible to replace the batteries. This was an expensive lesson to learn!
