Product Overview
The Monterey 128 oz. Once-a-Year Insect Control is used as a soil drench on ornamental trees, shrubs and certain fruit and nut trees. It controls adelgids, leaf beetles, leafhoppers, mealy bugs, scale whiteflies, borers (including the emerald ash borer) and many other insects. Just mix with water and pour into the soil around plant roots.

We have 7 acres in which most of it is landscaped up a long horse shoe driveway and around the house. It is a full time job (which I love) keeping ahead of it's needs. I started to notice several of the limbs on various plants, shrubs, and trees dying. On closer inspection I discovered little hard shelled insects on the limbs. Research led me to learn these were Scales. There were way to many to even think about picking them off. I first trimmed and pruned all plants needing limbs removed and disposed of all their cutting. After researching I purchest Monterey Once a Year Insect Control and followed the instructions. It was last year I applied Monterey Once a Year Insect Control. Now nearly a year later with the weather changing from rain to sunshine I have been checking all the plants I applied the Monterey Once a Year Insect Control. I have found a few scales but not many. Considering the amount trees, shrubs, and plants plagued with the scales and the ones I didn't treat the results using Monterey Once a Year Insect Control is amazing. I am using it again this spring. I highly recommend it to be used.

This product is a winner. The only problem is you have to order it. It's best to order a gallon, instead of the pint, that way if you have a big yard with trees/shrubs it will give you a couple of seasons. I've got a few pecan trees that produce awesome pecans when seasonal year hits. I also get a few hundred grapefruit a year. Crete myrtles are bloomers. Use this product to revive a tree from insects. It works.
