    Answer This Question

A:  It will reach but security is questionable. 1-3/4 inch of each 3 inch bracket would be exposed at each end of the fence section. I installed the brackets nearly flush with the post and fence sections.

They were easy to install and built well. I modified some to allow for a rail extension (8' to 10') by cutting off the mounting bracket portion and it worked very well holding the two rail pieces together. The company may wish to create an extension piece as part of the bracket pack.

I have about 25 sections of this fence in my backyard that makes up our dog runs. I have had it up for a little over 15 yrs. the lower brackets in some places needs to be replaced...BUT I have a different type bracket that is much cleaner looking. It is a piece of square tubbing that fits over the top and bottom rails which allows the fence sections to expand and contract, also looking more finished. Can’t find them anywhere!
