Thank you for your interest in Nite Ize. The RunOff Phone Case its phones up to 3.85" wide and 6.65" tall. It looks like an iPhone 12 Pro Max is 6.33" x 3.07" so it would fit the RunOff Phone Case.     I assume the pouch could float if you somehow capture enough air inside to support the phone. Otherwise the weight of the phone should pull the pouch down into the water. I hope this helps.

    It does not have any type of flotation built in so it will likely sink due to the weight of the phone.

      Super lightweight phone protection
      I got this waterproof case from Nite Ize for my cell phone so I could use it while kayaking. It works great and is so lightweight. It comes with a strap so you can hang it around your neck and still take pictures while you’re on the river. I was also able to use the touchscreen to text with the phone still in the case. Of course it won’t float so be careful, but overall is a great investment. I have an iPhone 8 plus with a small Spek case and it just fit right in there with a tiny bit of room to spare.

      Water "Proof" & Easy to Use
      This is a very nice pouch to keep a phone dry. I find it a bit difficult to open so I get my husband to do it. I'm sure at some point I will be able to do it.... but of course, they have great directions on how to open/close it and it's a new technology, so I know that's why it's so tight. It definitely keeps the phone dry while I'm out on the boat and you can still use it while it is sealed. It has a great lanyard with it to keep it conveniently around my neck. I have not tried it underwater yet but plan to.

      Ideal for boating and kayaking.
      This case has a very nice clear panel on the front, large enough to access and operate the phone. The rear clear panel also allows good photographs to be made through the clear panel. Sound from the phone comes through fine. There is a waterproof zipper that forms the enclosure. It has to be fully closed to ensure that water does not get in. I was very impressed with how responsive the screen is to finger movements through the pouch. Pictures taken through the pouch are also clear. (See sample image.) It comes with an adjustable length strap that clips onto two attachment points on the pouch. There are also some slits on the back that look like they could be threaded over a belt. I plan on adding a small float so that if the whole pouch is dropped overboard it won’t sink to the bottom. This is an excellent phone protection. The maintenance instructions for the waterproof zip says to lubricate it with liquid zipper lubricant but does not state exactly what type can be used. Their website suggests their own wipes, but they are out of stock. Made in USA

      Love It
      Much of my recreational activity is outdoors on or around water, so I'm always a bit worried about my phone getting dropped and damaged. This RunOff Waterproof Phone Pouch from Nite Ize gives me peace of mind when I'm rowing or kayaking. The pouch itself is sturdy, and the included lanyard keeps the phone securely positioned around your neck. The clear screen is touch sensitive so your phone can be used without removing it from the pouch. I can foresee that this pouch will allow me to use my phone in place of my GoPro to catch those quick videos while out on the water. Overall, I love this pouch and highly recommend it!

      The Nite Ize RunOff Waterproof Phone Pouch is the best phone case I have found. Nite Ize knows how to make quality gear. It is simple and secure. The patented Tru Waterproof zipper is the key, heavy duty and self sealing as it closes. It comes with neck lanyard to have easy access to your phone. I’m a kayaker and don’t think twice with my phone around me in the water. You could use it as a poor man’s body cam since you can operate all the functions of your touch screen while the phone is water tight in the pouch.

      The Nite Ize RunOff Waterproof Phone Pouch has clear, touchscreen-friendly material that allows you to take pictures with front and back cameras, and even underwater (up to 1m deep). This case protects from water, dust, and sand. It claims that it is slim enough to fit in a pocket, but that is only true for those with large pockets. It does have an adjustable lanyard, making it easy to carry around your neck or across your chest. An integrated interior card holder lets you keep your phone, cards, and cash in one convenient place. I tested it in my bathroom sink filled with water that I had colored with red dye, and indeed it is completely waterproof as it claims. The patented TRU Zip design allows for a mostly smooth glide and confident closure, but it is difficult to get that last bit of zipper closed. The zipper does have a toothless design that is silent. It can be fully submerged. My Galaxy S20 Ultra just barely fit inside, and while it took excellent photos through the plastic, I found that it was difficult to see some of my phone's lower icons due to the Nite Ize RunOff Waterproof Phone Pouch's black plastic edge

Their RunOff waterproof phone pouch hangs from your neck and is touchscreen friendly. It's a submersible and splash proof pouch that uses a high tech zipper to keep out the moisture.       The NITE IZE RUNOFF WATERPROOF PHONE POUCH - CHARCOAL, GREY is a nifty accessory for camping, biking, swimming or just running around town! I sometimes wear pants without pocket and have to carry my phone in my hand (awkward!). This pouch can hang around the neck on your so that your hands are free and you can still use your phone! In order to take pictures, you must remember to install the phone upside down so that the camera lens is in the clear area and not the black area. The zipper (when closed properly) assures that the phone will not get wet in rain, snow, while swimming or even in the shower! Yes, you can listen to your installed list of songs while you are showering! As I said this is a nifty accessory! P.S. if you have overs on your phone, you will not be able to get the phone into the pouch.

      A nice waterproof phone case. Comes with lanyard and loop on back of case for belt or other tie down. Phone touch screen functions work no problem through the clear plastic. The rubber zipper looks heavy duty and locks at the end. The instructions say to wipe a little lube on zipper for maintenance. My iPhone XR with Otter box case is probably maximum size test. It got in but it was pretty tight going in and coming out. I'll see if it loosens up a little or maybe I'll remove my case for kayak adventures.

      The Nite Ize Runoff waterproof phone pouch is a very well designed item. All the seems appear to be very well sealed. The zipper is unique. It is very hard at first to open because part of the design is the finish resting spot of the moving part of the zipper sets on top of a part of the zipper that is almost like a lock. So you have to give it a good pull to open and a good push to close it. Never trust any new item without testing first. The manufacturer states to do a test with the pouch sealed to se if there are any bubbles which would indicate a leak BEFORE inserting your phone. The zipper is actually US made (Hooray) but the pouch is fully assembled in Taiwan. The touch screen works really well as if there was nothing between you finger and the screen. We will be using this for beach time to keep sand away for phones. It is large enough to handle a iPhone XR with no issues (see pic) but if you have any rubber or silicone case it might not come out as the case might be sticky against the internal pouch material. Overall this is a superior way to protect your phone and even get under water pics for short time periods (less than 30 mins it is rated). Well done.
