This has a bit of a retro feel to it, and it's wonderful. You may feel like a kid at a firework park. This is a very simple band to use, and it's quite easy to see. Probably one of the easiest pieces of equipment to "install", you slap it on, and press the button right by the end. It has a steady light and blink setting for added visibility. The band feels sturdy, and is not too heavy to make wearing it a choir. Simple, effective, easy to use. Recommended for anyone that enjoys going outside at night in public areas.

This slap bracelet really sends me down memory lane - I remember how they were pretty much the coolest thing ever when I was in 4th and 5th grade. Now the same concept is back with a very useful addition - nighttime visibility! The integrated LED light is very bright and illuminates the whole length of the slap bracelet when activated.The single button toggles between steady on, flashing strobe, and off. It's clearly visible at night, and perfect for safely taking walks or other roadside activity after the sun sets. The battery life is great too - a single replaceable button battery lasts 100 hours! The bracelet/armband is made of weather proof material, but the end is open so that the battery can be replaced. The circuit board doesn't look like it's well protected from water ingress though, but I suppose there could be a clear conformal coating to keep it from shorting out due to moisture. The red LED shines down a clear plastic strip, which makes the whole thing light up. I was a bit surprised it was a red light instead of a yellow one, but the product description says it right there, so that's on me for missing it. The slap feature allows it to curl up around your wrist, bicep, ankle, etc. when struck sharply against it. The interior is a soft faux-velvet type material that doesn't feel like it will rub or chafe after extended periods of wearing either. To take it off, just unroll it and pop it back into its straight state. Unrolled, the bracelet measures 14" long. There's also a hole at one end if you want to hang it from a lanyard on a backpack or something. Overall, this is a great way to stay safe during evening walks, especially since our neighborhood doesn't have sidewalks. It's also a fun nostalgia trip too!

The bracelet I got is yellow, but they also sell the product in pink and red, and the LEDs always light up red, regardless of the bracelet color. The two lighted settings are continuous glow or flashing, but, either way, you're going to be nicely visible. A great solution for anyone who wants to make sure they're visible at night, this lighted slap bracelet can be worn on your wrist, arm, leg, or any other other cylindrical object (a bicycle's seat post, perhaps) to give you greater visibility. This product is a serious improvement over traditional nighttime visibility products because it doesn't just reflect light from secondary sources ... it is the source of its own light! That being said, I think that combining this product with another reflective safety garment like a reflector vest would be a really smart idea. Replacing the bracelet's single lithium battery is really easy.

Would work well for a safety band when walking or jogging, I was hoping for it to be a little brighter to use while working on things

Great product but the supply in stores is limited and the displays are dusty and could use some attention.
