A:  Hello Kevin, yes the lights connect to the controller and then you will need to plug them to an outlet. Our Novolink lights also come with an app for smart devices, this app allows you to control the lights. Feel free and contact us with any other questions. (1800-933-7188)

    A:  Hello Betty, you cannot connect another string together. Why? each string has a controller, therefore you can only connect add-ons. As you can see the controller is not able to come off. Feel free and contact our team at 1866-308-3976.

      A:  Hello Chas, you cannot plug a remote control to turn them OFF/ON. Our Novolink Mini Multi Color lights come with a controller box attached to the string. If you press the button on the controller box the lights will start to play different light modes. The controller box will power the lights OFF, or download the D-Lights app to power them OFF/ON.           I love this lights. I have a reason to sit at my balcony now because this lights absolutely change the ambiance. You can connect more than 1 together. It changes the light colors and blinks at different speed. I has attached cord and its long so you dont have to have extention cord for short distance.I will get more of this item for the other side of my balcony and highly recommended.

          This would be a terrific product if the lights weren't so dim. When you activate any of the features, they literally disappear. Very disappointing.

          If you're experiencing dimming, it may be that you've accidentally set 'Dimming' in the app to Low. In the D-Lights app, go to 'My Devices', select the string light, select 'Settings', and look at the Dimming slider at the top of the screen. Make sure it's all the way to the right (brightest setting). You'll probably also want to experiment with the flashing settings, and use 'Steady' to insure that all light are working, and are as bright as you'd like. Novolink

          These multi color mini globes are the cutest lights. The 200 LED lights per string works great. You can connect multiple strands for an even better effect. I use this indoors on my Christmas tree and it's amazing. There is a timer so I don't leave it running all night long. The different modes makes it even more fun depending on your mood. I like the twinkle the most.
