Questions & Answers
What are the inside measurements?
The interior dimensions are: 21.5" L x 11.4" W x 11.4" H
Is it sturdy enough to hold an adult to sit on it?
Hello, We do not recommend sitting on the hamper as it can potentially cause damage to the lid.
Is this for indoor/outdoor use? Or indoor only?
I use mine indoors. I’m not confident how it would hold up in the elements (heat, sun, cold, rain and snow). I do love mine as it’s a great compliment to our white bathroom inlaid cabinetry
We recommend this hamper for indoor use only.
I purchased this back in july and am just setting it up now and am missing the hardware, is there any way i can order them?
Hello, Please reach out to us directly at support@oceanstardesign.com and we will be glad to take care of it for you.
The lid won't stay open. Is there a locking hinge i could put on it to keep it open when doing laundry.?
The hardware that came with it holds up the lid. If the part is missing call either Home Depot or the company.
Hello, Thank you for your question. The lid is not designed to stay open. If you have any other questions regarding our products, please feel free to reach out to us at support@oceanstardesign.com Oceanstar Customer Service
Does the canvas bag have a draw string or any sort of handle for carrying to the washing machine? Is the bag easy to remove?
No handle or drawstring but the support bars are easily removed to carry it
Is this hamper available in an "apartment" size (taller, narrower, less deep?)
Hi Hemkay, unfortunately we do not offer the hamper in a smaller size on Homedepot.com. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot!
