Product Overview

  • Sweeter, larger and more crisp than almost all other apples
  • Fuji is a low-maintenance apple tree anyone can grow
  • Fuji apples attain peak flavor fresh off the tree
The adaptability and bursting flavor of Fuji have made it 1 of the most beloved apple varieties, thriving in climates ranging from Minnesota to Florida. Fuji is 1 of the best fresh-eating apples because the fruit gains the sweet flavor long before they reach peak ripeness. This means that Fuji apples have a much longer harvesting season than other comparable apple cultivars. The Fuji apple tree is a very heavy producer that is ready to be completely harvested typically by the middle of October, with the ripe fruit being quite large and red streaked with yellow and orange.
  • Fuji apples have a much longer harvesting season than other comparable apple cultivars
  • Fuji trees are remarkably adaptable, making them a great choice for both cold and warmer climates
  • Fuji apples are famous worldwide for their excellent flavor whether they are baked or eaten fresh
  • Fuji is a very heavy producer
  • Large fruit is a beautiful red streaked with yellow and orange

Unfortunately, the Fuji bare-root tree I purchased never came back to life. This was the first time I've ordered a fruit tree from Online Orchards and thought I'd give it a try, because I'd planted a Honey Crisp apple tree and it needed a nearby companion pollinator. It arrived promptly and likewise I planted it promptly. Actually, I planted it the following day after it arrived late in the afternoon the previous day. I soaked the roots for a couple of hours in water and then planted it in a large hole using a mix of packaged/native soil, just like I've planted all my other fruit trees that have flourished. I also installed a vole barrier. I watered it routinely, but it never came to life. I've waited close to three weeks for a hint of green. I will attempt to get a refund.
