      A:  Yes, I take mine off and store each winter. Just remove 4 bolts. I store the bolts in the bracket left on the dock so i don't loose them over the winter.

        A:  It has four bolts that attach to the dock that would have to be unscrewed to remove it. The brackets would remain in place. We left the two we have up through the winter and they have held up exceptional.

              A:  You would have to unscrew the side screws. Not that hard but i would not recommend this ladder if you have to adjust the length often.

                  Worked well. went together with ease, but a lot of bolts. Only change I had to make was for the dock mounting. My dock has 1 1/2" decking. I needed to replace the 1 1/2" mounting bolts with 2". No problem, it's stock at Home Depot.
