The Hampton All-in-One Mailbox and Post Combo Kit are constructed of high density polypropylene (mailbox) and high density polyethylene (post and newspaper port) for lasting durability. The kit includes a very attractive mailbox with highlighted "U.S. Mail" lettering on the door adding curb appeal to any home or business. The mailbox also features a knob for ease of operation and has 30% more capacity than standard mailboxes. The post features a convenient newspaper port ideal for accommodating small parcels and newspapers. The post mounts over a new or existing 4 in. x 4 in. x 48 in. treated pine post (not included). All necessary assembly and installation hardware is included. The rugged design is rust proof and resistant to damage from weather and vandals. Minimal assembly is required.

AnswersThe mailbox post is really a hollow plastic shell and it will need an additional wood or metal post to mount the shell over. The rest assembles easily and is attractive. The plastic will keep clean easier than the metal box that I did have, and the post will not have to be repainted like wood. Numbers do not come with the box but Home Depot sells several varieties of them.

Our old metal mailbox was fading and we were having to paint the wood post too. Looking at the options, we found the Postal Pro Hampton All In One Mailbox kit. We were a bit skeptical because of it being plastic but took the chance and very glad we did. First off, it is a great price. Second, it is super easy to install. And, last, but not least, it looks amazing and adds great curb appeal. We are extremely pleased and highly recommend this product.

Perfect product for my needs. Old box was hit and ripped off post. This box is high profile, clean and somewhat traditional. It took 15 min to cut old post down to 2 feet, 4 screws to attach/secure slide and box. Family, friends and neighbors all love it.

Great looking mailbox
Looks great in front of our home. Plastic mail door feels slightly flimsy but 100% functional and I know it won't rust. Mailbox and newspaper slot is large enough for normal mail and typical Sunday paper. Newspaper slot is open on both sides so you can tell from the front door if the paper has arrived before you go out to the box to get it. You do need to provide your own 4x4 wood post for this mailbox to fit over.
