When you need to service an inner tie rod you need the Powerbuilt Inner Tie Rod Removal Kit. This versatile kit removes tie rods that lack a full hex on the socket end with various sized Saginaw style tie road adapters 1 5/16 inch, 1 3/16 inch, and 1 71/6 inch. Included adapters cover most vehicles with rack and pinion steering. The removable adapter is first placed on the hex end of the tire rod.       A:  The tool set contains the following sizes wrench ends (1-3/16, 1-5/16, 1-7/16”) If the 2004 Honda Element inner tie rod nut has a flats configuration that is one of these sizes then this tool will work. The owner of the vehicle needs to check with the owner’s manual or some reference to see what the size is of the flats on the inner tie rod.

        A:  inner tie rods for elements are 29mm nut and the rod length is 22.5 inches long. have to say no this will not fit. tool housing isn't longer than 20 inches

            Very well made professional product. Make sure you know the adapter size you need before ordering. The three included adapters did not fit my 2005 Toyota Tundra so I had to return it. If your vehicle uses Metric sizes this kit will not do the job.
