Yes, you can. Please follow Duracoat or Cerakote dilution instructions.
No, the liquid does not come into contact with the metal parts while spraying.
Yes, but thicker liquids like latex paint will need to be diluted.
Best practice is to refer to the Tempra paint recommendations for thinning.
No, the Preval Power Unit is a one time use aerosol. This is used as a replacement used with the Preval Glass Jars. Also, See the Preval Complete Sprayer System which is the Power unit and jar.
Butane & Propane
Even though I am a retired chemist who actually made aerosol formulations during part of my career, I never evaluated the contents of nor measured the internal pressure of a PreVal canister (which can sometimes provide a good indication of the propellant). However, understanding the chemistry of paints, I would predict that the propellant is a mixture of propane and butane. These hydrocarbons are commonly used in aerosols of all kinds because they not only propel the desired contents from the container towards your target, they also disperse rapidly in flight so that there is no bubbling of the liquid that hits the target.
Propane and butane gas and it's flammable
Our Preval Sprayer is only 1.94oz but is still considered a hazardous good because it is an aerosol. Please check with the airline you are flying and TSA.
It should,be sure to follow instructions, don't shake the can and spray it on evenly!
I believe so!
No, I would not attempt it on this type of large project, plus not being able to dilute it.
