Simple assembly of drilling a few holes, two small holes to hang the mounting bracket that holds the included 64 fluid oz resin cleaner and another hole in the brine well cap for placing the long wick incasesd in its clear hose.
Feeder dispenses only 1 ounce a day which assures a carefree cleaning of the brine for over 2 months.
Images below show Easy Feeder connected to brine however no drills were yet drilled, waiting on a friend to drill for me however I’m too grateful for this product and wanted to begin having a clean brine, water softener and water

This review for the Pro Products Res Care Easy Feeder Starter Kit.
This kit comes with one 64 ounce bottle of Res Care, the resin cleaning solution
for your water softener, the wick enclosed in a clear tube and the bottle hanger
for use on your brine tank and instructions. Correctly setup in place, this feeder
will dispense approximately one ounce of Res Care solution each day into your
brine tank well.
Instructions are simple to follow, and you should follow them. Not doing so may
cause a hindrance to the feeder supplying the correct about of resin cleaner to
your softener's brine well.
Mounting the bottle, drilling the appropriate holes and running the feeder line into
the brine tank were simple. I personally opted to mount the Res Care bottle on the
outside of the brine tank's side so that I could just walk by on my way out of the
garage and check it's level at a glance.
Every few days, I would mark the level on the tank and watch it go down like it's supposed
to do. A 64 ounce bottle should last 64 days. IMO, this is better than mounting it inside
the tank where you have to stop, take off the lid to the brine tank and get a flash light
to see what the level of the bottle is. That would be something you would stop doing.
I checked the level of the bottle daily and marked the level of the solution. And like clock
work, it went down a little each day. It works great. Love it!

Automatic feeder 
Some reason someone thought a piece of string would draw fluid up and into the salt tank. Must be some engineer. Book smart but no idea what a screw looks like. No this does not work or will it ever work. Need something with a battery and a timer. Thats the only way it can be an automatic. Nice try though

Relies on a wick to drop product into tank. Very inaccurate and fussy. After 2 weeks no product dripping. You get what you pay for.

I was excited to discover a possible solution to maintaining my new water softener. The Easy Feeder sounded like the perfect solution, but to my dismay, it did not live up to expectations. After following the directions precisely, I monitored the Easy Feeder to check performance. Fail. In one weeks time, it had siphoned 1/3 of the cleaning solution into the brine tank.Oh well, back to manually adding the Pro Res to my tank.

This is a supplemental attachment for your existing water softener. It is made by Pro Easy and comes complete with hanging brackets, 64 oz of Res Care iin a bottle and a wick to install. My kit will install or let wick 1 oz. a day which is recommended as I am on well water. The kit is supposed to increase the current efficiency of your water softener system. As I recently installed, I will be better to judge the improvement after the first two months.
