Product Overview

ProFlex No-Dig Landscape Edging is a durable and decorative landscaping solution to beautifully finish any gardening project. Designed for quick and easy installation, no digging is required to use ProFlex No-Dig Landscape Edging. The 100 ft. project kit includes all you need to create a clean line between grass and landscaping. Simply clear the area of loose dirt and debris, align the edging to your desired area, and use a mallet to pound the anchoring stakes (included) into the ground. Not every project is the same, so we made sure ProFlex No-Dig Edging is easy to handle and cut to the length you need. Whether it's a bold, traditional edge or a sleek, modern line that you want, ProFlex No-Dig Landscape Edging products give your planting beds, sidewalks, and patios a professionally finished look. ProFlex Edging is flexible enough to create tight circles around trees and the patented No-Dig L-shaped design eliminates damage from digging into tree and plant roots. You can use No-Dig Edging with weed fabric for an extra layer of weed protection. The spikes will pierce through weed fabric easily and help secure the barrier. The 1.5 in. high Landscape Edging is strong enough to retain bedding materials including pine needles, lava stone, river rock, cedar, plastic, wood mulch, and more. Kit contains (1) 100 ft. coil of edging, (30) 8 in. anchoring spikes, and (5) connectors.

Can landscape edging be used to secure pavers on a walkway? I need 90 feet and would not want to ...

Yes. That is how I have my pavers secured on the edges, but metal edging would be sturdier.

Is this edging recommended for use as concrete paver edging?

Yes, the description pretty much says so, I would order extra spikes. We ordered ours with extra spikes to hold bricks around a mulch bed. We have leftover from the extra spikes and will pull a few bricks this year to add spikes where we had movement in the curves.

How much will edging bend vertically to accommodate some non-level terrain?

It will bend some but not sharply. Will handle a gentle slope.

Is this product available in brown?

Black only as far as I know.

We are looking for edging between a raised garden bed (gravel on one side and mulch on the other)...

The edging is 1.5 inches high and not intended to be walked over. For your intended use, if you fill both sides of the edging sufficiently with your gravel and mulch, do not allow the edging to protrude past the ground cover. We cannot guarantee the ground cover won't shift and/or get moved and expose the edging. If you use the edging in an area that will experience frequent traffic, we must caution you to maintain the area to be safe for your intended use otherwise it can become a trip hazard.

How many extra spikes do you suggest for 60' with curves?

This is not an exact science. Every situation is different. But I would say one every 5 or 6 tabs.

how tall is the actual plastic edging 1.5 inches or 2 inches?

Yes but it really depends on how thick a some layer you'll want as this is only about 1.5" high

Do you think this product can stop white clover to go to my neighbor?

Asked by Anne September 2, 2019

Answers

This product will not stop the spread of invasive grasses or weeds. It is installed on top of the ground, so there is the chance of growth under the edging. We recommend using weed fabric along with the edging to help with unwanted growth into flower beds and gardens.

Does this product expand in extremely hot deserts.

I bought this and found it very easy to install and works very well in hot weather.

Product was easy to use. Needed extra spikes especially if the runs are straight. I created a Boarder using the product and filled with white marble chips. No dig is best feature. Was able to create a winding boarder to match my landscape. I liked it was easy to install, Spikes where easy to hammer in, I have now had the product for one month. Neighbors keeps commenting on how nice it looks. The product for the price completely met my expectations.

Great product. I purchased two. The product was super, super easy to use. One suggestion...an extra pack of spikes would have been great. Yet I was able to install the edging securely. I am so pleased with the look of the yard with the edging.

Very easy to use but I would recommend getting the extra pack of nails. It is easy and flexible which is good when making curved edges but it also feels a little too lightweight to hold in heavily trafficked areas.

This did exactly what we wanted it to. We needed to put down a rock walkway leading around our house for guests to use. It's a curved area and this did the trick. It was super easy to work with and installed pretty quick. The only drawbacks I found were that you need to buy extra stakes-they don't supply enough, you can hit rocks and the stake won't drive in and the biggest is that so far the heat from the sun really softens the material so the curved areas go slightly out of shape. I heard similar problems occur in freezing ground as well. All in all, we do like it's appearance and function.

I've tried different edging products and this is clearly the best. I just installed a 60' Edging Kit and am very happy with the results. Of course I need more spikes so ordered them from HD at a reasonable price. I'm still deciding what to use as a backfill since this section separates a natural leaf covered section from my St Augustine lawn. You can use some bricks or gravel or just mulch. I'm looking for material that is inexpensive.
