A:  Yes, the No-Dig Edgings can be curved in either direction to create various rounded shapes, including an "S". You may need to experiment with the anchoring spike placement to secure the desired curves the best. Additional anchoring spikes are available separately if you feel you will need extra anchoring support.

A:  Absolutely. Easily bends any way you want it.

A:  It should be bent in the direction of the stake holes that are pointed inward toward the area being protected. But you can bend it in any direction and making an "S" shape should not be a problem.

A:  YES!

A:  Hi Char, the edging is intended to create a nice separation between landscape beds and grass. However, it will not keep weeds and grass from growing into your garden beds, since it is not installed in the ground. If you need weed prevention, we recommend using weed fabric along with the edging.

A:  Yes, this is exactly how I used it. It is fairly easy to install once you have a sharp edge along the grass. Push the mulch about 8" back, lay your edging material down with the nail in edge facing the mulch. Use as many stakes as necessary to keep the Proflex flat to the ground. When finish, pull the mulch back toward the inside of the edging material. It will look great and make string trimming simple. You can buy extra nails at Home Depot (or order them on line). A:  Hi, this is farily hard vinyl and a simple hack saw cuts it best. Make sure you cut it in the sections indicated on the instructions so that you can nail the end pieces together for a continuous border, or just so you can have a nailed in piece at the end to hold it in place. Good luck.

A:  Hi Rhonda, you can use a pair of heavy-duty garden shears or tin snips to cut the edging.

A:  I use a large snipper.

A:  This fantastic edging is quite sturdy. The scallops do not bend to the side,and it is not so thick that it is rigid. There is enough flex to the edging which allows it to simply be manuvered around borders/edges. If there is a need to cut it to fit an area, while most certainly doable, it will take some effort to do so.

A:  The material is very sturdy, a very thick plastic; however, the degree of "heavy duty" is proportionate to the height of the scalloping.

A:  This is a heavy duty product.

A:  The scallop top edging kit is heavy duty, but flexible. I used it in an area that separates dirt from gravel for flower beds. I stalled it a year ago and it is holding up very well. My plants contained within the edging are doing very well too.
