Installed parallel under floating shelf. Perfect! Never have to unplug anything when trying to find an outlet again. Absolutely recommend for workbench. Have two charges, tv, soldering iron, vacuum, stereo receiver, and a few usb chargers. Just be mindful of how many amps your circuit can draw.
