    Use a razor knife instead
    Great design but poor knife quality. This thing would be great if it didn't rip the wood laminate. The blades need to be a lot sharper. Use a sharp razor knife instead of this.

      Terrible tool
      You will spend more money buying edge banding if you use this product. Don’t usually leave reviews but this is a terrible tool. Impossible to get a straight cut. Tears off your edge banding

        It works great for the first 15 feet then the blades is not sharp enough to do clean cut. The blade is a special blade and has to be purchased seperately.

        Throw Away Product After Use
        Product worked OK for a small cabinet with about 50' of edge banding. For larger works, blades should be replaced. Instructions say standard 1.75x.75x.015 Matt cutter blades can be used. Good luck trying to find the correct size blades. Plan on throwing it away after a small job.

          Edge Trimmer
          I used it to trim Edge Banding tape. I had to make multiple passes to cut the edge (used 13/16" on 3/4" thick board). several times it did not remove everything after several passes, and I had to use Dewalt chisel to complete the job. Sometimes it remove too deep, and cut the melamine off the board (not the edge, but from the 3/4" board). The blades are special, and after few uses, you can throw the product away.

            Doesn't trim close enough
            Works good as a first pass to remove excess material. Leaves a small lip that needs to be filed off.
