would it work to scrape stickers off a windshield?

would it work to scrape stickers off a windshield?
Asked by: pat
No, it would scratch the glass. You need a smaller scraper, because of the curvature of the windshield.

whats the length of the scraper from the razor to end of the handle, total length?

Asked by: Handyandy
Overall length is 12 inches. Note the scraper blade is fixed at a 10 degree angle. Scraper measures 11.5 inches from the center of the blade to handle and 11.25 inches at the lower corner.

Can I use this scraper to get dried paint off my commercial windows?

Paint is typical "seasonal" paint, but been on there long time. I plan to wet w soapy water for bit, then scrape off. I can use razor, but will take hours. Am looking for larger tool - will this be sharp enough, etc?? Thanks.
Asked by: PaintedWindows
Yes it would work even better with some products that are made to remove paint.

removing floor tiles!!! does this tool remove the cement glue that sticks to the floor??

there is no info on the tool !!!
Asked by: jimmy
Am assuming you are referring to vinyl floor... That is exactly what I use this for. Make sure you have plenty of blades. I allocate 1 blade per 15sqft of polished concrete floor. If you are dealing with a rough concrete floor an angle grinder may be a better approach.

4 in. Wide Razor Scraper and Stripper is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 137.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from this product saved my arms this tool saved my arms and I wish I had it when I started my project. It is nice to have the long-handle and the edge is not 90 degrees, so you can get impact with scraping. My project was described a lot of caulking that was overdone in my bathroom and I started out with just a razor blade which about killed my arms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes, these blades did a great job as I removed... Yes, these blades did a great job as I removed the old sheet vinyl flooring. Just scrape and turn your blade, scrape again, keep doing this and it helps to sharpen your blade or allows the blade to last a bit longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from be sure to turn the blade around At first I thought it was just another paint scraper even though it said razor scraper because it comes packaged with the blunt end of the razor exposed. There are no instructions so I just scrapped away until it broke and then when I pulled it out to replace it found the razor on the other side making scrapping a breeze. I felt like an idot but who knew. Now you know if you are like me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for removing carpet glue from concrete this was really great for removing carpet glue from the concrete floor. it also removed any carpet pad that was left. the floor was still stained, but smooth as the rest of the concrete. I would definitely recommend it. I did the border of half of my living room in about 15 minutes. it's really easy to use. just be sure to unscrew it and flip the blade before and after using it, bc from the store, it comes with the blade side against the tool handle, so it needs to be flipped. hold it and an angle and use small scraping movements to get the glue up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderful Scraper The QEP 4” Razor Scraper is all steel construction, except for the plastic grip handle. Especially liked the 4” razor which made the scraping so much easier and it's replaceable. After soaking the paper remnants with water from from the vinyl flooring, it was just a matter of an hour or so with the scraper. The only gripe I had with the scraper was that the plastic handle kept turning while I was working with it. Will glue it to make sure that it won't happen on the next project. I would recommend this tool for a small project because of it's size.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality and design. Mine broke. I bought this scraper to scrape my subfloors after removing tile in our entry way. I purchased this one because it was the cheapest and the area I needed to scrape was only 4x4. The quality of this scraper really disappointed me. The piece that holds the blade in place is plastic. Pressure is put on it when you scrape and the plastic breaks. I actually had to take one back because it was no longer usable. I only had about a 1x3 area left to do so I just grabbed another. I was able to finish the job, but the second scraper had cracks in it when I was done. Long story short, i would not recommend this scraper for scraping subfloors. Save yourself some heartache and buy the $30 one. Maybe this one would be OK for wallpaper?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Satisfied Purchased this product because I needed to remove cutback adhesive from my concrete slab in order to install new tile and was very satisfied with the end result. Just poured scalding hot water over the adhesive and with a little elbow grease it took the cutback right off exposing the bare concrete. Just remember to buy extra blade for those larger jobs.
