Styrofoam was great. I used it to make an art project for my grandson's birthday. It was easy to cut, I used wood burning tool to shape headstones. it absorbed paint easily and didn't soak it in. I was very happy with the purchase, the price and the service at the store. So many photos it was hard to choose.

Just foam board. Literally you can see light through the insulation, but that’s what you get for the price. If you are wanting a small addition to insulative value and want to save money, these will work for you. I put 1x3 beams over these, anchored to the wall and they held up to the pressure of the board.

I bought four 1"x4'x8' sheets to insulate my South Florida double-car garage door. Each sheet took me about 3 hours to measure, cut and install (8 "panels" per sheet). I'm 74 and accomplished the project on my own. Easy to cut and install.

I bought this insulation board to make a cover for my desert garden. It includes a small bird bath. It's been in the 20's. Everything outside is frozen yet when I remove the cover from my desert garden even the half in deep bird bath remains unfrozen. I highly recommend for any temperature control

I thought to make a garage door a long time, very hot, sunny side. I was searching online what to get better. They sell at least $ 76 on 8 panels, I have 16 panels. I bought R-Tech 1 in. x 4 ft. x 8 ft 4 panels for only $ 70 (used 3.5 panels). It turned out well, it became quieter in the garage, the gates are not rattling, I think the temperature has become lower.

Great insulating board. Foil side provides nice appearing surface. Used for insulating lower half of old single pane windows. Storm windows and screen blend with the foil side and drapes hide the R-Tech side. Stops drafty chill. Sheathing is easy to cut. Much stronger than foam panels. Easy to cut with disposable razor knives. After cutting to size the R-Tech covering can be peeled off for a clean white face. A very economical way to insulate old windows. Can be removed to let sun shine in.

I've purchased this product in the past, to use for insulating windows during the summer in Arizona and it worked well, but this purchase was for insulating a very thin door on my rental home. I moved into a 55+ mobile home community a year ago and the back door of the home is wafer thin. All last summer I could feel the heat coming through as if there were no door at all. I don't use the back door but maybe once in a blue moon, so I cut a sheet of R-Tech to size (use a very sharp blade to avoid foam fuzzies), finished the edges with duct tape and squeezed it into place (I used a butter knife like a shoehorn). Summer hasn't fully hit yet, but this door faces west and we're into the low 90's now and I feel absolutely zero heat coming through! I know this addition will help me save on my electric bill as the thermostat is only about 10 feet down the hall from this door and my SRP bills were huge last summer. I already had 2 layers of blackout curtains on this door, so the outside set of drapes cover it nicely now. Oh and I cut out a little niche for the doorknob & deadbolt. I've covered this with shelf paper in the past to conceal the text on the insulation and it worked like a charm.
