will this work for makeing maple syrup
Hello John, please note that this refractometer has a range of 0-32% BRIX. Maple syrup would likely have a significantly higher BRIX % as it requires a minimum of 66% BRIX to be considered maple syrup. We would not recommend this BRIX refractometer for that application.
