Great little tool, but....
I was tired of spending money to inflate my tires at gas stations, so I bought this inflator because I already have Ridgid batteries. It works great and is easy to use. The only issue I've had is the battery seems to drain if left connected to the inflator. I've never experienced this with any cordless tools but it is definitely happening. Easy solution, don't leave the battery connected while storing. Great tool.

Very cheap air chuck
Major flaw, chuck connecting hose to tire poorly designed, plastic, too big. If unlucky and cant figure out the secret, won’t work at all. 75 pct of 1 stars had problem from factory. Locking ring gets turned preventing the stem from inserting, locking, and holding pressure. Secret…unscrew chuck, slide ring off, turn ring slowly while putting on till it slides on with no resistance. Buy $15 adapter if too big

Road trip certified tool from great company
Generally I am not a 5 star person, but in this case it is very deserving. Drove from PA to FL hauling 3 ton enclosed tandem trailer and i infalted all tires (8) up to 40 PSI for the truck and 50 psi for trailer and it took very little time. Temperature dropped a good bit and I had to top off again. Got to the rental at FL and there was a junker with 2 flats in the driveway and I inflated both flats (sitting on rims) with no fuss. Still had 1 bar left on the 2AH battery.
Also Ridgid has been exceptionally great with their lifetime warranty. I have a 24V kit that I bought in 2006 and it is still running. When the batteries finally died, they sent me brand new 18v batteries and charger. That kind of commitment to customer support commands loyalty.

Great Tool but needs a slight modification
I love this product. It is a well-made air inflator and does a great job, however I do not like the end connector for connecting to the tire valve. It takes some finagling almost every time you try to secure it to the tire valve. However, I wound up ordering an adapter with a better connector and so far it works great. Now I really love this tool.

Bikes!
Excellent price with charger and battery. We bike often and have many types of bikes. This pump automatically stops at the desired PSI, so you don't have to stand there waiting for tire to fill. The only thing we did not like was the "quick" release chuck. It is terrible because it doesn't lock well and it feels like we'll break it eventually. Our solution was to cut it off and install a double pump head, which fits both schrade and presta valves and now this is the perfect air pump.

Best portable inflation tool I've tested.
First I want to remind everyone flats happen and road service is not always available when needed. I have found over the years you need to be prepared for road problems. This model is one of the best I have used. It's well built, light in weight and gets the job done. Very easy to learn to use, connect to the tire valve and just dial in the correct pressure. Once correct pressure is set it's automatic from that point. A manual mode can also be set if you feel the need to be in control. This inflator can handle any car or SUV tires and also a mid-weight truck tire. The only con I found was a slower inflation time for the bigger tires. Most SUV tires can be inflated in two to four minutes. The unit will give a solid run/fill on a two amp battery pack of four to six standard size tires before needing a recharge. It can be purchase as a complete kit with house charger and car charger. Battery is an extra purchase. I have use this on my own car and saved a couple friends a service call $$ and time.

Bicyle People You'll Like This
Bike people: it does come with a presta adapter, though it is just one of those cheapo press-on adapters. If your main use for this is bikes though, you might want to try what I did. I just lopped off the end of the hose(you can't change the Schrader head that comes on the pump) and installed a replacement Park pump head. Fits perfectly and works well. You can set the pressure to what you want, lock the head onto your valve, and let it inflate until it stops at your setting.

Worked much better than expected
Wotked very well. Was more cost effective to buy the bare tool and then a combo brushless drill and 2, 1.5 Ahr batteries. Thought I would need more than 1.5 Ahr but a single battery could bring up 4 tires that were each down 7 PSI. Bonus is that inflator, batteries, drill and charger all fit in the bag. Only (minor) negatives is that it is a little loud and the PSI gauge is whole numbers (no decimal place) however, when I compared to a high accuracy pressure gauge, it was spot on. Definitely would recommend.
