A:  This listing is for the 21degree nailer but if you get the 30 degree version it absolutely fits on the Ryobi framer! And vice versa, the 21 degree fits the 21 degree. Ask me how I know ;)

                  great size
I’ve come to learn a cordless framing nailer is a great thing (mind you I do have the air nailer as well). Now getting this extended capacity magazine has me ready for any size job. When I purchased my tool only, back when; the extended mag did not come as part of the tool only price. Holding 2 nail strips per load has cut down on time spent reloading and increased my productivity. I have had no problems with any additional jams while using. I find I keep the bigger mag on all the time and the regular mag rattles around in my case. Only negative I see and can’t really say its only a 4star review because of is it isn’t interchangeable for use on my air nailer, but instructions state only compatible on the brushless nailer.

Great addition to a great tool.
I was already amazed by the power and run time of this cordless nailer but I did wish it could hold more nails. The standard clip is nice for small jobs and remodel work where you might need to fit in tight spaces. However the extended magazine “clip” on s almost a must have for new framing and sheathing. The standard clip holds only one typical strip of nails. This extended clip doubles the capacity so you have less downtime reloading. Installing takes under a minute after the first time and the only tool you need is hidden on the extended magazine. Honestly pretty excited about this addition to my framing tools. Hope this helps!

                  Much, much, much better
I do a lot of framing whether it’s for a room addition or fascia repairs or patios. And I was really excited when these framing nailer‘s running only on a battery came out. And now with these extended magazines I am really sold on them. The stock magazine fits 1 rack of nails and like 1/3. In the new magazine fits 2 racks of nails and almost a half of a third. So that equals much less reloading. Definitely a five star upgrade from the stock magazine. It’s definitely made very good. Just like the original with no shortcuts. Just extended. All metal. Not much plastic. Installation was really simple and straightforward. It’s impossible to get it wrong. Two screws on the top and one on the body of the nailer. But only two need to be removed all the way. The new magazine even comes with its own Allen wrench. Which is great in case the original was misplaced. Going to add the extended magazine to all my nailers. The nail gun is already heavy so it’s not like it adds that much more weight. And if anything I actually feel it more balanced. If a pro owns this nailer then I highly recommend buying the extended mag. The difference is night and day. Even to build a fence this just made the process so much better. The magazine is exactly identical fit to the original so there is no issues of any other type of modification. Must have if you own or are thinking of buying the nailer. Worth every cent and pays itself on first day of use.

                  A must have accessory!
The rigid extension is one of those accessories that you didn’t realize you need until you get it. This extension fits the RIDGID 18V Brushless 21° Framing nailer (R09894). Though I am not a contractor, as a DIYer this tool will save me so much time and frustration. When do you usually run out of nails - when you are up a ladder or other inconvenient time and you don’t have any nails near you. The extension holds twice as many nails and it only slightly heavier. It is easy to install the extension, you just take the hex key that is on the gun loosen some screws and swap it out. Because it is longer than the original nail compartment, it is does take a little getting used to. I built a fence and it so much faster not having to stop and reload. However, in certain projects, such as tight quarters, the original nail compartment would be better to use.

                  Just right for big jobs
This magazine is almost double the capacity of the standard magazine that comes with your nailer, (from 33-61 nails). When you are on a big job and time is short, you only have to stop to reload half as much. It is very easy to swap the magazines out, loosen three allen head screws, slide the old one off, slide the new on and retighten the screws. Use the 4MM allen wrench that came with your nailer. If you haven't found it yet, I included a picture of where it is stowed. It is hard to see until you locate it. The magazine is a time saver and works well.

                  A must have!
What a time saver!! I own a Ridgid 21-degree Framing nailer and found myself constantly loading nail strips. When I saw this extended capacity magazine, I knew I had to have it since it would cut down in half the number of times I reload the nail strips. Installation was super easy! There are 2 screws at the front of the magazine, as well as one screw inside the middle of the track. The heads of the screws are that of an allen wrench, so you'll need an allen wrench for removal. I recommend the magazine be empty when you swap it out. Mine still had nails in it and when I removed the screw in the center track, the spring pushed it back. The middle track screw allows you to adjust and lock it in place because of the two holes adjacent to each other. One hole is larger than the other, and the larger hole is the one you start with. Then, slide the magazine into the other hole and screw it down. Screw the other two screws at the front of the nailer and you're done. There is nominal weight difference in the larger capacity magazine with extra strip of nails. I framed an extension to my garage with it and got done in record time!

                  Production Requirement
Ridgid 21° Extended Magazine The Ridgid R09894B is an impressive framing nail right out of the box. If, however you are a framing professional, professional builder or just a DIY'er who buys the best framing nail deals for current or projected projects you'll need this extension. All you need to do is look at the pro isle in your local Home Depot at the framing nail supplies. Pro's buy their nails by the pallet or case to get the best deals. The next thing they look at is the volume in each case and how their packed. You'll find that the best deals are in 'nail gun sized sticks' that's what this magazine extension allows you to use the larger sticks of nails. You can see in the pictures below, the extended magazine allows up to 150 nails, with clipped heads to load at one time, if however, you’re in a local that requires only full round head nails you’ll still be able to get 50 nails in the magazine at a time. Almost enough for one wall at a load for the framer. Whether you’re framing alone, or as a member of a crew, you want to minimize your time reloading your nail gun. Whether you’re loading from your nail bag or your nail bucket it takes time and as the saying goes 'time is money'. That definitely give the nod to adding the extended magazine to a fine production nailer.

                  Nice to have extended capacity!
This Ridgid Extended Magazine is great and is specifically for use with the Ridgid R09894 Full Round Head Framing Nailer. The included instructions walk you through how to change out the standard magazine to the extended one. The load capacity of the magazine that the Nailer comes with is 33 nails. This extended nail magazine can hold up to 61 nails. (see pics for more details). The original stock magazine (that comes with the Nailer) is about 12" long and the extended one is about 19" long. I'm going to be finishing my basement soon and this will save a lot of time during framing! Great option for larger jobs!

                  Huge Time Saver
The RIDGID 21° Extended Capacity Magazine is a real time saver. My Ridgid nail gun came with just the standard magazine and it held just over a full clip of nails. With the extended capacity magazine, the nailer now holds over two clips. Installation couldn’t be any easier requiring the removal of only three screws with the attached 4mm hex wrench. This magazine will be perfect for more production-type framing and will save tons of time loading nails. A big plus is the longer magazine seems to help with the tool balance. If you want the most from your Ridgid nailer, this is a must and very recommended.
