For shipping, the sharp/razor end of the blade is not exposed, so, if you want to use the sharp/razor end of the blade (which is the main purpose of this scraper tool), then you must remove the blade, rotate it, and secure it back into the scraper tool.
Great Question Wyswid! The RIDGID 4 in. Razor Scraper FT5001 has a blade that in reverse, the rear-facing cutting edge can be used to scrape and push material in a reverse direction. I hope this helps. Eve
Hi Frosty, Most glass top stoves do not recommend using scrapers to scrape the tops. You will want to check the manufactures recommendation for this type of tool. Thanks for asking. Greg
I suggest you check with the manufacture of the stove, you may do permanent damage to the surface with that tool
I suggest you use Cerema Bryte cleaner which is an amazing product that is also at Home Depot. Crumple up some aluminum foil to use as a scrubber and scrub in circular motions. I think it would work for the toughest problems. My stove is 12 years old and looks brand new.
