This blade accessory set is a nice set, and provides a multitude of blades for tons of different uses. Per the box, the blades can be used on metal, plastic, wood, drywall, tile, grouts, masonry, etc. The blades are also universal and can be used on 10 different brands of tools. The accessory case has a neat blade locking mechanism to keep things in the proper place. Overall, great set for lots of different applications.

An oscillating multi-tool has become an essential power tool in my shop. It can do what no other tool can and do it quickly. However, it has to have the right blades and accessories for the job. The RYOBI 16-Piece Oscillating Multi-Tool Blade Accessory Set has wide variety of blades and accessories that will get you through most jobs. This is one tool where you do not want to skimp on quality. I especially like the 1/8 inch grout blade. After remodeling our kitchen the granite counter top settled a millimeter or two. All of the cracked grout had to be removed. The grout blade made the job fast and easy. I also frequently install hinges in frames where they must be recessed. A hammer and chisel works but the wood cutting blade on my oscillating tool works much faster. The blades in the set are "universal" mounting and work perfectly on my Bosch tool. There are three sanding triangles in the set. They are for hook and loop backing. I am disappointed that there isn't a triangle hook accessory on which I could mount them. They are the perfect sanding solution for tight inside corners. If you need or want all of the blades and accessories in one set, this is the set to get.

This 16-piece oscillating multi-tool set by Ryobi represents a solid assortment of the most used (or needed) blades for most projects. There are wood, wood/metal, grout removal, scraping and a triangular, carbide abrasive coated blade. All of these blades come in a durable carrying case. Each blade is secured in the case with snap-in devices. However you can remove the entire blade holder tray and just put the blades in loose. It gives much more room for putting in all of your other multi-tool blades. I found that each of the supplied blades was of good quality and the wood blade that I used for a quick test performed as well as most other blades I have used. Based upon the individual prices you would pay if buying separately or on an as-needed basis this set is a bargain. But I discovered that the 16 pieces includes three pieces of hook-and-loop attachment sandpaper and there isn't a blade or pad to allow it's use. Looking at the product photos you would think that the triangle blade is the sandpaper holder but you would be wrong. It has very coarse welded-on grit (carbide?) and is for heavy duty scraping. So if you want to use the sandpaper you will need an optional attachment that isn't included in this kit. Seems to me that Ryobi should have included it or left out the sandpaper and called this a "13-piece set. All-in-all I still think this is a good set and it represents a fairly good value while giving most DIY folks a good assortment of blades.

This is an excellent assortment of oscillating tool blades in a useful and durable hard-shell case. The clips in the case hold the blades securely, but can be difficult for big fingers to operate. Blade locations should be marked, as each blade type has its own location. There are actually only 13 blades in the assortment, as three triangular sandpaper pieces are included in the 16-piece item count. The accessories I tried readily fitted my DeWalt oscillating tool.

This is a good way to have a set of blades ready to go for your oscillating saw. You get several wood blades, two cutter blades, two carbide type blades for hard material like tile and some sandpaper, all in a pretty nice plastic case. It does not have the type of carbide blades that cut metal, however. The case is kind of large for what it holds. But it holds the blades well and it is really nice to have everything together so you can grab it and go.

For those interested in the country of origin, this product was manufactured in CHINA. The set has universal fit to all major manufacturers as well as some not so wide spread and even Box Store brands. Most impressive is the markings on the blades identifying the material on which they may be used. There are two plunge blades which most kits do not have, as well as the expensive grout removal tool.

I have owned Ryobi tools for well over 15 years and I was really glad to pick this Multi-Tool Blade Accy Kit! It has everything you'll need for 90% of the projects you will ever do. Let me start off by talking about the case that the blades come in. It is very heavy duty and solidly built. It can be stacked bookcase style which is great for storing on a shelf. It has plenty of room and you can also add blades and store them along with the others in the same case. Ryobi has included a great selection of oscillating blades that will fit virtually every brand of oscillating saw out there. A couple of my favorite blades are the flush cutter and the grout remover blade. What a time saver both of these are. The triangle scraper is my wife's favorite. Ryobi has a history of designing and producing great tools and accessories for consumers like us. This is another great product that will provide years of service. You won't be sorry for grabbing this down at Home Depot!

If you are reading this review and you are a homeowner handyman shopping for a good quality, sturdy and easy to use Oscillating Multi-Tool Blades, in my opinion this is a good option. I got these for my RYOBI Oscillating Multi-Tool Model #PBLMT50B, so naturally the fit was perfect. Without hesitation, is my suggestion for replacement blades for the soft materials i.e. wood and PVC. I have not used on metal or tiles yet but if the performance of the blades I did use are a barometer, then I’ll be a very happy camper. These performed as good as or better than the original blades. I used a wood plunge cut blade to freehand cut a crude Dado Slot in wood supports slats to create a primitive shelf for all my tool batteries. The blade performed beautifully; the operator needs more practice (see picture). I easily cut through a spare 1 ½” PVC pipe. Then I tried it on a drywall screw and a exterior decking one and they did the job nicely.

I'm using the Ryobi blades on a DeWalt "Atomic" DCS354 oscillating tool. Although Ryobi markets the entire kit as a "universal fitment" they do note that the blades fit "most" oscillating tools. On my DeWalt everything seems to fit well except for the triangle carbide rasp. I need to use an adapter (which came with the DeWalt, not with the Ryobi blade set) to mount the triangle rasp. See photos. I'm a bit leery of those bolt-on adapters but, in this case, it's worked quite well. Not a down-check on the Ryobi set, just something to keep in mind. The reusable case is nicely constructed, although the hinge isn't a true piano style hinge. (See photo). All of the bits and pieces (except for the sandpaper) store securely with locking tabs to keep everything from rattling around. The sandpaper, unfortunately, sits in a clear plastic insert (see photo), there being no slot in the box proper for sandpaper. For my purposes the plastic insert just gets in the way; I'll probably discard it altogether and either just let the sandpaper slide around in the case or carry it separately. YMMV. The blades themselves seem to work as advertised - I don't have a major project on hand right now, but some testing in my basement shop shows promising results. I can't comment on longevity of the blades - as noted I have no projects on hand and anyway the longevity of the blades will vary greatly depending on the job. Hitting a hidden nail or stainless-steel screw can shorten a blade’s life over what you might normally expect from the blade. Still, the Ryobi's seem to be up to the task if my shop testing is any indication. Ryobi guarantees the blades against manufacturing defects but notes in their warranty that these are considered "consumable" items so there's no real guarantee on longevity. As a homeowner / DIY'er that's not usually a problem for me - when the blade wears out, I toss it and grab another; some jobs use up more blades than others. Having a kit such as this, with multiple style blades available, can be an advantage for the weekend warrior - no matter what unexpected project crops up I have a fair shot at having the correct blade on hand. For me it's working as advertised (even with having to use an adapter for the rasp) and it's a welcome addition to my toolbox. HTH Regards, Jim

This is a very good RYOBI 16 piece oscillating mult-tool blade accessory set. It comes in a very nice case that is reusable and very durable. It keeps your blades organized and protected. When you do wear out the blades you can replace them and put new ones in there place. These blades are mark for there purpose . In this set you get wood .metal cutting blades, scraper and a flexible scraper, you even get a grout removal tool and a blade with a sand paper on it. These blades are tool compatible for different brands. The metal cutting blade is really nice I had to cut out a drain pipe coming out of our floor in the bathroom that we are remodeling this was the only way we could get it out and the metal blade held up and ready to cut some more metal. I love the sheet rock blade it's so much easier using it then a sheet rock knife . These tools helps make your remodeling job so much easier this set has just about everything you need to do it with. These tools are very durable and long lasting. I highly recommend this set.
