                      Single stage ryobi - 1 snowpocalypse - 0
                      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Today after breaking the single month snowfall record (82”) for December that stood since 1964 it finally stopped snowing in Juneau. the 40v single stage snowblower got us through to the bitter end. I didn’t touch a shovel except for my front stairs and to knock down some high piles too high for the mouth of the blower. For all those who said it wouldn’t handle ice or heavy snow I say eat crow and behold the absolute mush it threw all the way up and over this snow wall. It ran flawlessly 13 days in a row 3+ hours per day, I was lucky to be able to be at home and keep up by clearing frequently but I cleared 10+ inches multiple times after overnight snow. The 40V OPE line is excellent and I’ll die on that hill. I’m nearing on naming this snowblower and giving it a room in my house after surviving “snowmageddon” with a back that still works.

                        Easy to sssemble and performs well.
                        The RYOBI 18 inch 40 v battery powered snowblower was simple to assemble, all parts were included, is relatively light to operate and performed well in our first seasonal snow.

                          I’ve used this snow blower twice so far, and it has great power for clearing my driveway and the paths around the house. With about 5 inches of snow, the battery lasted around 15–20 minutes, so I needed to swap batteries to finish the job. Overall, I’m satisfied with its performance and convenience.

                          I received my snow blower in a box was able to unpack it and put it together very easily. I charge the battery and then check to see that it ran. I'm a senior citizen woman, and this will be perfect for me this winter.

                            I think I bought the last one in stock, because after my order processed, the website listed it as out of stock. I am glad I was able to get one of these for using on the snow days that do not require the full 2 stage blower. One of the best things about this so far is that when you blow the snow, it goes all the way down to the concrete and does not leave behind a layer like a 2 stage does. I like that this was the 40 volt battery that I already had 3 other batteries for as backups. The battery has not lasted as long as I had hoped, but I do have other batteries in case it doesn't get me through all of my cleaning. I think it lasts as long as stated, but I have a little more area to clear, plus the last snow was a slushy snow that would clog easily. I like that the unit is lightweight and easy to move. I love how quiet it is and I do not have to worry about what time I use it and if it bothers anyone. I have only gotten to use it twice so far, but it has met all of my expectations and I would recommend.

                            Perfect for my 12 X 30 foot deck.
                            Very good! It seems like the reviews are 1-Star or 5-Star. So I was nervous about if it would work well enough. I just charged the battery and used it on my 12 X 30 foot deck with 10 a 13” of fresh heavy snow. It worked great! See pics of my progress. Took me about 5 minutes to do the whole deck! Perfect for this application.

                              Tough little snow mover
                              I usually hand shovel 1-3 inches of Minnesota snow. I saw an ad for the electric snow shovel and decided to make a purchase. I stopped at 2 Home Depots which were out of stock. I noticed the 40V, RY40809 machine and decided to give it a try. It is a powerful, tough little machine.

                                Little worker that could

Depending on the depth of the snow you may need to work smaller sections at a time. Get a 2nd battery for larger projects to maintain efficiency.
