A: The P4001 has a bulb tip built on to the end of the auger cable, it is one solid piece and cannot be changed out.

Worked great and did a good job of cleaning the sides of the pipe. It was disappointing that this auger tip was not available in a pack of 4 different tips for this specific drain auger.

It got the job done, but I had to sharpen it to keep it from binding up un the root system. Also, it is small, so if you have one of the larger, powered augers it fits, but loosely.

Should be called scraper!!

Even though it’s called a cutter, it doesn’t actually cut! It’s to scrape grease from the sides of the pipe.
