These bits have a triangular shaped shank, I don't think they would square up in a router collet. They work great in a drill chuck.
They are stepped, 3/8" triangular shape , then 1/2" round towards the cutting end. The triangle fits a drill chuck well. Hope this helps.
Need more information. The drill bit needs to be installed in a drill chuck and the drill bit is then manually guided when using; whether it is a hand drill or a drill press.
No this will NOT drill a 3" diameter hole. For that you will need a hole saw
They will work on a 3/8 drill.
No, this bit set was designed to be used with a drill press or a 3/8 hand drill. I hope this answers your question, Mike
1/4 inch, 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch, 3/4 inch, 7/8 inch, 1-3/8 inch
1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8", and 1"... then a 1 3/8"...
I measured the shaft length and found in my set the lengths were approximately three inches (not including the tool head) for all the bits. I hope this answered your question. Mike
This is the one that I got.
