Link system review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this along with standard box and rolling box yesterday. I have already purchased a link system before and its held up ok but not really because it hasnt even been a year. Anyway I returned this along with the rolling and standard box. I loaded this in my truck completely empty and strapped down yesterday. Got the job today still nothing in it and noticed have way through our job that the lid on this had cracked. No apparent impact l,nothing sitting on top of it, no shoes prints. I just cant throw money away like this anymore so I returned everything today. Im really disappointed I have always loved ryobi, but be that as it may in my industry they are not keeping up. For the do it yourselfers, yeah this system is awesome as it gets and saves alot of space, for the tradesmen though, i fear this system just wouldnt last. I have co workers with similar systems and dont have the issues.

Good for the at home do it yourselfer
TRADESMEN BEWARE, bought yesterday along with the standard and rolling tool box. Half way through a job today went to the back of my truck and the the top had cracked just from sitting there. I had not put anything in them yet!!!! Brought them back immediately after the job. The quality is far below par. I have another link system already and thats already falling apart and it hasnt even been a year. Im sorry ryobi but this is probably the straw that broke the camel's back.

I love the clear top packs. I have a bunch of Ryobi Link packouts now. Now I need to get some wall hangers for them all to easily sort them and get them out of the way.

Only works in the middle
I was excited to buy this as I thought I would be able to place this next to my link tool bag. Because the link tool bag has exterior pockets, when filled, it will not allow the organizer to sit flat next to the tool bag, it is possible with a good push, just not feasible.
The other issue I see is that the organizer will only fully secure itself in the middle of the system, when on the sides, the release lever doesn’t pop out as far as when it is in the middle and can easily be detached.

This organizer has shattered my confidence in LINK
These organizers are a bad omen for the future of LINK. I need to keep things short so here we go:
1: Width is several inches smaller than the other boxes, barely preventing 4 bins being used in a row.
2: Width also prevents locking on top of the LINK crate.
3: Bottom of organizer has imprints for bin feet, BUT ONLY FOR SPECIFIC ARRANGEMENTS. Each row is 1sm on left, 1lg on right. 3sm bins per row? Large bin on left? Nope!
4: Bins don't even stack with each other?!
4: Only 3 link cleats on top

Poor bin design.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am disappointed that the original LINK bins can not be used in this item. I have a lot of the original bins. I wanted to be able to have different bins loaded with items so I could switch bins out and just take the components needed with me. If I am doing plumbing, I may not need to take electrical items. Now I will have to empty the bins into something else and reload the bins with what I will need. Not very convenient. A little more though could have been put into this.

Quality with Ease!
I really enjoy this organizer. What helps me is that I can adjust the compartments to make them bigger if I need to. However, I love that its part of the RYOBI LINK line. I can easily snap it on to my wall mounted LINK plates and keep it right there at eye level for easy grab and go projects at home. I've also transported it with other LINK cases so that I can hold onto one handle and not try to carry multiple things in one hand. It really makes my projects flow a lot easier. Adjusting the compartments is easy. All it is is slotted plates that can come on and off by sliding them in or out. Thats it, easy as that. The lid will always stay on due to a sturdy clips. Nothing is coming out of this organizer as long as the lid has been shut correctly and the clips are locked in. Overall, its not to big and its not too small... It's just right for those items that do not need a lot of space. I would easily RECOMMEND to anyone. Good Quality all the way!

Very helpful to keep small items organized,
Easy to attached to the other Ryobi boxes and actually very solid attached and at the same time easy release. I both a few extra to keep my working truck organized and the investment was worth it.

I bought this to bring various screws, hooks, staples, hand tools, etc... while using the larger boxes for my power tools and it worked perfectly! It is a slightly smaller form factor then the other LINK boxes, so I kept it on the top of the stack. I really like that the small containers inside can be moved around to fit whatever shapes and spaces you need for the contents.
