A: This light is cool colored, but it is the best light we've ever used. My husband and I fight over it constantly and should probably buy another one!

A: It's a white light, I'm guessing over 4,500K. Probably 5,000K- 6,000K. I'm very happy with it ☺️ hope this helps ☺️

A: We've had it running for as long as 6 hours at a time. It depleted the first battery (1.5Ah, I think) after about 2 hours. Swapped in a higher capacity, fully charged battery and kept going.
It uses LEDs, which tend to last a very long time (many years) as long as they are adequately cooled. On this light, they are spaced out pretty well, and I haven't noticed it get excessively hot.

A: It's not a bulb, it's many LEDs and they look like they can run for a lifetime, however, they don't look like they can be replaced individually.

Q:Just bought this and using it with P104 18v One+ battery. It works fine on high brightness but shuts off after a few minutes on medium and low. It does the same thing on two different units. Any suggestions?

A: We have two or three of these lights and they work great. I have to admit, i just turn the light on and use it. I assume that first click is the high setting, so we really haven't used the medium and low setting. I'll try that going forward to see if that's a issue on mine as well.

A: That seems like odd behavior, indeed, certainly from my experience. My light will turn off when the battery gets low, and it's logical that it will tun off sooner on high power/brightness setting versus low.

A: Have 2 of these and never had this issue, left on for over 30 minutes. Recommend you return to Home Depot and get replacements....

A: Tried to look up which battery is the P104 and can't find it. I've been using the 1.5AH and 4AH battery with this light and never an issue. Used it quite a few times on several projects and i've had it on for over an hour each time. Sounds like a bad light to me.

Blinding work light
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ryobi LED project light is a fantastic addition to my garage. Light is very powerful, with 18 high intensity LEDs and blinding at the top, out of 3 output levels) at 900 lumens which feel much brighter. Light dispersion is at about 120° angle, very wide.
I really liked how the hanging hook can be snapped locked and open.
The biggest functional advantage in my experience is the ability to use both battery or a 120v extension cord for powering the light.
The magnetic tray is another nice and very functional addition to this product - I've been gluing magnets to other work lights to solve that problem
Design is superb, LED, materials and functionality are top notch, and with the added versatility this light is worth every penny.

I like the flexibility of this hybrid light; use in battery mode when portability is needed, or connect it to an extension cord for regular AC outlet power. You are not able to have this plugged in with the battery connected at the same time, so charging the battery is not possible with this light, you will need to use a charger. The LED lights are bright without being too harsh, they are directional with 3 power settings. High power is listed as 900 Lumens, medium at 600 Lumens, and low at 100 lumens light output. The head can be rotated vertically, clockwise and counter clockwise 180 degrees. Runtime is listed at 35 hours per charge in low mode (based on battery type). The One Plus system fits all my 18 volt batteries ( including my old NiCd style). The light has a small magnetic tray for the purpose of holding small parts, it is not a magnetic base for attaching the light to things. The one complaint of this light, like many other reviewers stated, is when connected to an extension cord, the light will not stand up correctly, I guess it is made to be a hanging light when connected to an extension cord. Great for emergency preparedness, my Ryobi batteries hold a charge in storage for a long time, so they will be ready when I need it.

This is a pretty good light, very bright. I love that it's hybrid, I use it both with batteries and a power cord. It is awesome to have the options.
I would recommend getting two, it is very bright, but it does not cast a wide beam. I generally like to have two that are spread apart so I can light up what I'm doing but not create a shadow in the way. With the very bright single flood lights, it always seems my shadow on what ever I'm working on. The price of these are great so buying two is not bad.

Very good light overall. Has a single switch and 3 power modes: 900 lumens, 600 lumen, and 100 lumen.
The color output is very bright and does not have that blueish tint of low quality lights.
The head rotates and swivel and comes with a hook to hang too.
Using a 4 Ah battery was able to have it on for hours at night during a power outage.
This is a hybrid model meaning it will run off of the One+ battery or an 120 volt extension cord. The plug for that is located on the bottom of the light.
