They drilled through the metal I needed them to but the SpeedLoad+ portion of the largest bit twisted off upon its first few seconds of us. I was still able to use it like any ordinary drill bit at least.

Buy at your own risk
Fell apart day one drilling a pilot hole into my book shelf. Now I get to try removing the bit from the wood without wrecking it. The fact that home Depot sells this crap ticks me off. Do not, I repeat do NOT buy this product.

Came apart on first use
Tried drilling some pilot holes through 1 in thick white oak and it came apart before even going through one time. I just bought this because I recently misplaced my usual drill bits. I have never seen this happen but I’m even more shocked it was on the first use.

What can I say? They cut like what they are - cheap bits.
When I tried to pilot a hole using the smallest bit in jatoba ( AKA Brazilian Cherry ) it bound the drill and spun it out of the hex. Now jatoba is _tough_ but it's *not* hardened steel like some have suggested it can drill.
I had thought these were a set of tap drills but it was just me misreading the description.
They were not as sharp out of the package as I had expected.
As cheap bits they are ok, but _caveat emptor_ (buyer beware) . . .

Drill bit set - The drill bits are rated a "5".
Ryobi drill - Rated a "2". Why? Drilling the hole is fine but when backing out the drill bit, as it is rotating the hex drill bit pulls out of the drill holder. Reason being is that the hex shank drill is not tight enough therefore, it won't stay in the drill holder. I would not recommend this tool. The drill holder needs to be redesigned.
