Questions & Answers
Does it work with the pole that I have for my Ryobi trimmer?
Hello, Fernando - No, this scrubber is not compatible with trimmer poles or extensions. If you need further support, then feel free to ask another question. You can also contact us by phone at 1.800.525.2579, Monday - Friday from 9am to 6pm (EST), or via email when you visit us at https://www.ryobitools.com/support/contact. This question is from RYOBI ONE+ 18V Cordless VORTEX Power/Electric Spin Scrubber (Tool Only) (P4510).
Is this compatible with Milwaukee chargers?
Hello, Shan - We recommend charging the P4510 only with chargers specified by the manufacturer and listed in the tool/battery/charger correlation supplement. Chargers from other brands are not recommended and may create a risk of fire.
Do you have to have a soap container screwed in to use, can I hook it to water only,
Hello, Aj willya - Yes. the soap bottle should always be installed; do not operate the scrubber without it in place. You can use water only by connecting a garden hose to the water inlet and setting the selector to WATER so it dispenses clear water only. If you need further support, then feel free to ask another question. You can also contact us by phone at 1.800.525.2579, Monday - Friday from 9am to 6pm (EST), or via email when you visit us at https://www.ryobitools.com/support/contact. This question is from RYOBI ONE+ 18V Cordless Telescoping Soap Dispensing Scrubber (Tool Only) (PCL1701B).
Can the siphon hose from my mini pressure washer be attached to this using some type of cuppler?
Hello, Nicktor - No. We recommend only connecting a standard garden hose directly to the scrubber’s water inlet and tightening by hand. The unit is designed to be supplied from a pressurized water main, and we do not recommend modifying it or using non‑approved couplers or attachments (such as a siphon hose from a pressure washer). If you need further support, then feel free to ask another question. You can also contact us by phone at 1.800.525.2579, Monday - Friday from 9am to 6pm (EST), or via email when you visit us at https://www.ryobitools.com/support/contact. does it only have 1 speed?
Hello, Ksoddy - Yes. The PCL1701B operates at a single fixed speed (about 210 RPM) and uses an on/off button; there are no speed settings (only a water/soap selector).
Can this be used on a car
Hello, Telescoping - Yes. The P4500 power scrubber can be used to clean exterior and interior surfaces, so using it on a car is appropriate. We recommend rinsing the brush frequently to remove debris and avoiding pressing down or holding it in one spot to prevent surface damage. If you need further support, then feel free to ask another question. You can also contact us by phone at 1.800.525.2579, Monday - Friday from 9am to 6pm (EST), or via email when you visit us at https://www.ryobitools.com/support/contact. This question is from RYOBI ONE+ 18V Cordless VORTEX Telescoping Power Scrubber (Tool Only) (P4500).
How do you attach the soap dispenser? Do you need an extra hose attachment to hook in with the garden hose attached to the hose attachment on the scrubber??
Hello, Steven1701 - - Attaching the soap dispenser: We recommend threading the soap bottle straight into the tool and hand‑tightening only; do not overtighten. For best results, fill the bottle to the max fill line, hold the tool horizontally while lifting and threading the bottle into place, and keep the bottle installed during use. - Garden hose connection: No extra hose attachment is needed. We recommend turning the faucet off, then attaching the end of a standard garden hose directly to the scrubber’s water intake and tightening by hand. Also ensure both the soap bottle and garden hose connections are threaded securely to avoid leaks or cross‑threading. If you need further support, then feel free to ask another question. You can also contact us by phone at 1.800.525.2579, Monday - Friday from 9am to 6pm (EST), or via email when you visit us at https://www.ryobitools.com/support/contact.
